Lovely piece of working history just outside Boston town centre.
A semi-working mill that grinds its own flour that you can buy in its shop.
You may choose to pay to venture up and around the mill or simply buy local produce in its shop. The view from the middle floor is worth the admission in itself.
The highly informative operators are on hand to educate you about the workings of the mill.
The mill has its own fairly large car park.

What an absolute treat!

A beautiful windmill and so very interesting being able to study the mechanism and workings out. And very reasonably priced flour etc in the shop. I can’t wait to try my porridge oats 😁

Been to Boston several times and the windmill stands proud in the town but never had time to visit until my last visit. Did the self tour of the mill, ascending to the topband working our way down floor by floor and reading the notes we were given. Enjoyed every minute and learnt about the mill and milling.
Need to be reasonable fit because as you get higher inside the mill the stairs get narrow and steep.

One of the the finest and tallest windmills in the British Isles. Offers nice little shop on site and no under 18’s allowed inside the mill.

Unfortunately they no longer allow children in, even if accompanied by an adult. It's a shame as I remember going up as a kid and finding it interesting.
