Wow…first African dishes place with exceptionally delicious delicacies. I ate Pounded yam and soup which has freshly made vegetables and meat in it.…spicy and yummy xx

We met Markan Foods at a local Christmas market and bought some chicken and rice. The portion was generous, the rice light and fluffy, the chicken moist and tasty. We both enjoyed it and would definitely have some again.

Happened upon these guys by pure chance as my regular sandwich shop was closed. No more sandwiches for me ?. Delicious food, had beef with rice and plantain and all was amazing ☺️

For my husband's graduation celebration, we ordered for 30 plates of Nigeria jollof rice with a piece of chicken and turkey in each plate. The jollof was nice and the chicken and turkey were well sauced. My best part was the packaging, it gave 10 over 10 and our guests were as pleased as I was. We got small chops as bonus, hubby ate all and said "this pie is good for the tummy"?

Good rice, perfectly cooked. Which isn't as easy as one might expect. Tamed spice for the English pallet but if mentioned you may have a cheeky pot of homemade chilli sauce. The chicken charred but with a flavoursome marinade and not dry whatsoever. A fantastic new option to local food culture.

I would have added photos but all you would have is empty tub, couldn't help myself
