Warm welcoming cafe, smelt heavenly with all the baked goods! The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere felt relaxing when I went in to order. Did get a tea to takeaway, which was nice.

I love popping in here for a cappuccino when I'm in Durham. Jill and the team have a lovely establishment and are always welcoming. Jill's enthusiasm for her work shines through and she always great you with a smile. The coffee is always tasty, however the stars of the show are the tarts. We've tried a few flavours now and everyone is as delicious as the last. Our personal favourites are the pecan ones but we enjoy them all and actually have some praline ones to enjoy this weekend. The toastie and hot drink offer is such a good deal and I'm pretty sure that there is a scone and hot drink offer too. Please don't walk past without popping in and treating yourself. You won't be sorry.

My mum and I had Afternoon Tea and it was lovely. Coffee is excellent, and all pastries were truly amazing. The place is cozy and comfortable and the service is great. I definitely recommend it!

Stopped in after lunch to grab a cake and tea and it was amazingly delicious! And such a large slice of cake I had to take the other half home with me! Will definitely be stopping by again after work more x

Hands down the best cake I've had in my life.
Bought a slice on a whim and just had to buy another slice of a different cake to try at home. Both were perfect, I hope they don't change a thing because we're planning the two hour trip again soon just for more cake!

Staff were also incredibly friendly and polite, but were overshadowed by the cake, (sorry guys!) The venue was very tidy and comfortable and the prices very reasonable, let alone for such quality.

Overall a fantastic experience with literally zero negatives!

Ordered an absolutely delicious lemon cake from Maple Patisserie for my birthday and despite me being quite indecisive, the lovely lady on the phone was so patient and helpful. The cake turned out to be lovely and exactly what I wanted, both the service and the cake was impeccable.

Just popped in here with family for lunch and it was lovely.
Best toasties in Durham !
Gorgeous, fresh cakes/scones and I opted for a scone with jam and cream. Sister had the biscoff chocolate egg filled with biscoff cheesecake filling, that was just gorgeous !!
Staff were very friendly and welcoming and it was very clean and tidy. They also have water for the dogs at the door ! Can highly recommend Maple Pattiserie !
