Would highly recommend Mantel Farm, they are incredibly knowledgable and friendly! We built our chicken run using their pre-made panels, they supplied our chickens and now all our chicken food and bedding etc. The prices are reasonable and you are always greeted with a smile 🙂
We have also done a couple of their bee courses which were great fun and very informative- would certainly recommend the courses as well!

I recently placed an order for 2 chicken perches, and they were promptly delivered within a couple of days. The quality of the perches is exceptional and the packaging was done beautifully. I needed a chicken ramp, my new rescue hens do not like the steps provided with the Eglu cube. Ordered the ramp on Monday and it arrived this morning (Thursday). It took the hens about 20 minutes to decide it wasn’t for eating and now they are using it. Great service from Mantel Farm, and thank you Jason.

We booked our chickens in for boarding while we had our annual holiday, I'm so happy we found this farm via google, the communication was fantastic, Jason was very helpful informative and really friendly nothing was to much trouble (we added nights at short notice) ? the farm and boarding areas were clean and all chickens were well kept we loved it so much we came home with triple the amount of chickens then we started with ? we will definitely be using again and for regular supplies when needed.

Ordered black tails which were paid for them told only brown rangers in stock which I went for. Waited 30 mins for shop to open. Staff were inside drinking tea, asked could I collect early they said no so I left.
Customer service not great has been before but felt let down this time.
Won't be returning to this farm another supplier has been found. Be careful and check your order to make sure recieving the correct birds that you order

We visited Mantel Farm yesterday and purchased our first four hybrid chickens and we are so very pleased with the service provided and the chickens! The girls are beautiful. The chickens are kept in clean, well kept conditions and the owners/staff are very welcoming, informative and helpful. We'll definitely be back for more things as and when needed. It's a worthwhile place to visit!

Myself and my 15 year old daughter have just completed the 2 day beginners course on beekeeping. Having very little experience from the outset this humbling course is excellent giving a detailed and practical understanding of this fascinating subject. There is a lot to take on which is sometimes a little daunting but Mantel farms is an excellent place to learn in a relaxed and friendly setting. If you can find a friend it helps as it does get complicated and always helpful to keep motivated as it became clear bees are quite a commitment but worth it.
