We had struggled to find accommodation to suit 6 adults and a toddler, so we were delighted when we found and stayed for a week in both The Roost and The Puffin cottages.||The cottages were both extremely clean, thoughtfully equipped for our stay and so beautifully furnished and laid out. The Roost has its own garden and BBQ area with 2 seating areas, which we really appreciated. The Puffin cottage has its own summer house and a bench also, which are really lovely. Kerry & Paul were really accommodating with any questions we had prior to staying.||There’s a fab meadow out the back with willow-weaved football goalposts, a little seating area and a signposted walk around the meadow too.||Whilst we were there, we visited Scarborough (which we loved, especially the miniature train, Peasholme Park and the beach), Filey beach, North Landings beach (beautiful, steep hill to get down & back), Sewerby Hall, Bridlington (fab beach and land train for the little ones) and we had a cracking dinner at The Piebald Inn in Hunmanby ||We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Stayed here for a week in Puffin Cottage. A lovely house just right for two but big enough for a couple with a child to stay in as well. Very well appointed with everything you need for a stay provided and everywhere spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and excellent shower. The Summer House and garden is good for a relaxing sit down with good views to the west from its elevated position.|Well situated for Bempton Cliffs, Flamborough Head as well as Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby and the Yorkshire Moors.|Paul and Kerry are lovely and welcoming and the perfect hosts. |These are popular cottages and rightly so - we cannot recommend them highly enough.

A return visit to Manor Farm cottages and on this occasion we stayed in Puffin Cottage which is lovely cosy accommodation..
All areas of the cottage were spotlessly clean. Lovely comfortable large bedroom.
The cottages are in an area which is great to explore this part of the coastline and also the Yorkshire moors.
Paul & Kerry are great hosts and I have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation and we certainly expect to return in 2024.

I stayed in Puffin Cottage for 4 nights - my idea of heaven! The cottage has been beautifully converted and is equipped with everything you could need. It has a comfortable lounge/dinning area and kitchen downstairs and a large bedroom with a shower room upstairs. It's Ideally located for visiting Bempton Cliffs, Flamborough and Bridlington and there is a lovely walk along Hoddy Cows Lane from the cottage to the cliffs. There is ample parking immediately in front of the cottage and a garden with summerhouse to use The welcome pack of milk, tea/coffee and biscuits was a lovely touch and saved me making a trip to a local shop on the day I arrived. This was my third visit and hopefully won't be my last.

Lovely, comfortable and well appointed cottage in a lovely location. Stayed for a week with our children and the cottage contained all that we needed including a dishwasher and washing machine and all the pots, pans and utensils etc. you could want. ||The cottage came with an allocated part of the garden with its own summer house and picnic table (to go with the table for our use outside of the cottage itself) which was a lovely touch. As was the playing field further up where our children had fun playing football etc. with the balls and goals provided. The meadow walk was also lovely and our son enjoyed seeing the chickens! The cottage(s) really are in a lovely spot with great grounds.||Situated close to Bempton Cliffs, Flamborough Head and Bridlington (North Beach only around a 10 minute drive, supermarkets only around 15 mins) and not far from the roads to towns further up and down the coast (Filey 15 mins or so, Scarborough 30 or so) a great location wether we chose to stay local or strike further out.||I appreciate this is a personal preference but the only 'issue' we had was the mattress was a little hard for our liking but this wouldn't stop us from booking to come back again.||The owners were welcoming and gave us some good ideas of activities we could do locally.

Puffin cottage is perfect for 2 people. Very well presented and maintained. It has a well equipped kitchen, well thought out living space, spacious bedroom with very comfortable king size bed, ensuite with great shower, easy allocated parking directly outside and also has it's own allocated garden area with a summerhouse containing 2 comfortable chairs. The location is perfect if you want to visit Bempton Bird Reserve. There is a very pleasant walk to the cliffs via Hoddy Cow Lane which is in itself a birding hot spot mainly for small but interesting birds such as Yellow Hammers, Linnets, Sedge Warblers etc.. but also Owls. We saw Barn and Short Earred Owls there and also if you go in the evening you can see Hares. For a change of scenery it is easily possible to visit Bridlington, Filey and Flamborough. The Coastal walking is beautiful and not too difficult. It's a lovely walk to Filey and you can get the train back to nearby Bempton. We were there in June and the cliffs were full of flowers including the Northern Marsh Orchid (best place to see these was Flamborough Head). If you love birds this is the place to stay.

Fabulous stay this weekend at the Guillemot cottage here at Buckton. The place is gorgeous, the hosts have thought of everything, the cottage are very comfortable with all amenities you need for a weekend at the coast. The garden with little private summer house and meadow walk is a real bonus and lovely views. Great location for Bempton RSPB reserve you can get there before the crowds and also walk direct from the cottage. Would definitely recommend! We’ll be back!

We stayed 3 nights in Puffin Cottage which was excellent for 2 people .Everything we needed was there ,very clean and modern. The owners had gone the extra mile to ensure you enjoyed your holiday including your own garden and summerhouse .Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough to sit in the summerhouse but the cottage was lovely and warm with a good hot shower. We enjoy walking and birdwatching and there were several nature reserves near to the cottage so it was perfect for us .
