We found Sarah, our hostess and farmer, to be an absolute gem. She made our stay of 3 nights at her working farm a real delight with nothing too much trouble and a venue that we would highly recommend to others keen to see rural England at its very best. So well positioned to visit Marlborough (20 minutes) and Salisbury Cathedral (30 minutes and a MUST) - not forgetting the unique Ridgeway with all its ancient Long Barrows and nearby Stonehenge itself. Good-sized bedrooms with en-suites, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and farmhouse breakfasts cooked to order made each of our days a joy to remember. Strongly recommend.

From the moment you arrive you know you are in a special place. Sarah is so warm and welcoming, and loves her farm and Wiltshire. We enjoyed the large master bedroom with the bathroom that overlooked the garden. The breakfast was terrific while considering our food allergies.|Sarah was a fun host and encouraged us to walk around their beautiful farm and enjoy the views of the countryside. We enjoyed our long stay as it enabled us to enjoy all the nearby sites.

We just love a good bed and breakfast. And this is one. Not only the food and the room is important though (and they were both very good), but also a good chat about whatever subject with other guests or the owners. Sarah was for us the perfect hostess, friendly and always looking for an answer to any question. At our service. Location and surroundings were nice as well. Perfect, very good ... : more of the same and we're sorry for that but it is what it is. Would highly recommend. Luke and Marie Lou. Belgium.

Booked a three night stay in Rose Room ensuite. Arrived a tad early but was invited to check in by the fantastic hostess Sarah. Provided with fresh milk and cold bottled water. Spacious room and equally spacious bathroom. There is plenty of storage space and plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Very happy with the room and later discovered a comfy king bed. Room overlooking the gardens. Sarah provided recommendations for places to eat in the evening. Opted for the Swan PH, in Wilton. Albeit a limited Sunday evening menu still plenty to choose from. Breakfast was an absolute delight. Fresh seasonal fruit, yoghurt, 6 different cerals. Juices and a full English cooked breakfast to order. 3 different choices of toast. Plenty of tea and coffee. Sarah was very chatty and informative on the history of the farm. Another recommendation for evening meal was the Goa Indian Balti restaurant. If you like this food, do not miss this one(shut on Tuesdays). It's just a 10 min drive away. Third evening, we ate at the Barleycorn ph just a 5 min walk from Manor Farm. Good walks around the farm to spectacular scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Manor Farm and cannot praise Sarah enough. If you're visiting the area then seriously consider the Manor Farm, I will happily recommend it.

What an absolute joy. It’s a working farm steeped in tradition and focussed on ethical, sustainable farming. I was lucky enough to be there to see the calves and acres of fields with graising cows and horses. ||Manicured gardens outside my window and a beautiful room with all the little extras that make a stay amazing. The absolute best home grown scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! ||This place is a must. ?

Staying the night here after landing at Heathrow was a great decision. Incredibly beautiful old farmhouse with beams and features galore which was incredibly clean and comfortable, and had a wonderful bath. Our hosts were great and cooked us the best breakfast of our stay in the UK. And as they owned the village pub down the road, we had a delicious meal and drinks there too. A real highlight was the evening walk and morning run along the Saxon Shore Way. Beautiful and spectacular.

We were fortunate to stay here on a trip to Wales and England. When we arrived, the owners were moving cattle. Their daughter greeted us when she arrived from the pasture and explained that this is a working farm. We loved it from that moment! ||The room was enormous and well-decorated and appointed. Our room had two twin beds and a private bath adjacent (not en suite) at the top of some stairs. Everything about the room and bath was comfortable, spotless, and in fine condition. Sleep quality is excellent here.||Breakfast was served by the owner, Sarah, and it was delicious. There had been an electrical problem in her kitchen, but we would not have realized it because she served hot, plentiful, and scrumptious breakfasts and great coffee in spite of the glitches. A very friendly lady, Sarah chatted with us and other guests for a bit about her farm and the area. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting her. ||If you are looking for a delightful country stay, with lots of English country character, a sound sleep, welcoming and friendly hosts, and an outstanding breakfast, you have found it. If we're ever fortunate enough to return to this area, we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 3 days and loved every minute. Our hostess was so kind, she let us check in early (to combat the massive jet lag I had after staying up all night (pity I can't sleep on planes). The garden view from the room was just like paradise, breakfast was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable. And the shower had good pressure. The grounds, though quite steep, were a pleasure to walk around. I really cant say enough good things about this place. One minor quibble is the that the taps in the bathroom sink are tricky, you have to turn them several times (more than I'm used to anywsys) to get them to work. But if you learn the trick its all good!
