If you are a nature lover or need some time out in a beautiful environment - this place will not disappoint you, even in the end of the summer. Incredibly filled with many plants and flowers. And besides the rose gardens (with a bit more watering they couldve be blooming even in the winter months), there are well designed and kept ground and water features with were plenty of places to sit & relax & enjoy the surroundings.
The guided tour in the house is interesting as a building.

Wonderful, peaceful gardens (although we had chainsawing, shredding going on when we visited this time - can't be helped, as work is needed to maintain).
Plenty to spend a day bumbling around. My favourite is the chapel and gardens.

The hall and gardens were stunning really beautiful but I've only clicked on 4/5 because of the rose gardens absolutely full of weeds, looks unkempt and uncared for.

? Mothers Day visit ? there is a £2 honesty box set up for the big car park. Very easy to find. It was a lovey short walk on a rainy day over the boardwalk to the bird hide. ?
The boardwalk itself is just about okay for those with a stick but it’s very very muddy at the moment & not too stable under foot. Once at the bird hide it was awesome to watch all the activity as there were no other visitors it was so quiet and lots of wildlife activity. I saw a Dunnock of the first time! I recommend taking your binoculars, a flask of tea & something sweet whilst you twitch.
We picked this place as easy to get to and would allow good dogs on leads ?

Such a stunning place to visit. I used to stay in a nearby caravan site as a child with my grand parents - it was lovely to visit again now i’m an adult! The boardwalk hasn’t changed at all, such beautiful wildlife to see.

Mannington Gardens is a Royal Horticultural Society partner and therefore free for RHS members; but even if you are not a member; in my opinion, the small fee paid is really good value as the garden is beautiful; it also sits around a medieval moated hall – the house is also stunning and not open to the public, but you can walk around it; highly recommended if you are near Norfolk.

What a great find. Not too big but a nice place to spend a couple of hours. Some great areas for children too. Nice cake at the tearoom. Thoroughly recommend.
