My second visit today. Such a fabulous find. Food is beautifully cooked, very tasty, very fresh and … very plentiful!
Staff are relaxed but incredibly good. Kitchen team look calmly in control - always reassuring. The aesthetics of the venue are fabulous giving the whole place a smart up market but comfortable warm relaxed feel. We will
definitely be back.

Visited to have coffee and croissants with friends. Waited 40 minutes for a coffee for one to be served cold, the replacement of this took a further 10 minutes. This was clearly an issue across the board as we realised many were going to complain about the wait, however no indication was given of the delays at the point of ordering. The setting is absolutely beautiful and has so much potential, however the service & general organisation of staff (for example, the one person who was making coffees then serving these as three waitresses looked on) needs to be urgently reviewed.

Fantastic place for brunch, a coffee meeting, lunch or just a cake and nibbles. The food is fantastic tasting, great quality and size.

The service team met us with beaming smiles, feom start to finish all we're very helpful and friendly and explained any nutritional points that were asked by customers. The inner space was packed out which I take as a good sign to an establishment.

Great decor and layout to the venue, with additional parking g just round the corner near the barns. Not clearly posted but visible enough to make a comment sense decision. Beautifully done gardens and outdoor seating. It was a tad nippy that day but there is plenty of baskets with blankets situated about for ease.

A popular place as shown buy amount of customers and people sat in the windows working away on laptops.

A great place to visit, and 1 to go back to, to experience the formal dining side of things

Lovely little place with great atmosphere all around.
Went for late breakfast/lunch in July, the sun was shining, sat outside and it was just super relaxing.
“Caeser salat” slightly different and super delicious.
Sausage roll also very fresh and yummy.
Coffee very tasty too. All in all, would definitely go back.
Hopeing for dinner service to resume very soon again

The longest wait for a coffee on a Sunday morning I’ve ever had. Ordered and waited an hour for it to arrive. By this time, our child was bored and when our coffees finally arrived it was so warm, boarding on cold.

Had it not been for the fact they arrived shortly after the hour, I was about to cancel the order.

Besides the above. The place is lovely and atmosphere is a pleasurable experience.

Food is good, but staff could have explained the menu better. Two mains came with potatoes but no veg. The staff had not pointed that out. Tiramsu was lacking in oomph. Bacon substituted for anchovies on one main. Menu printed in a small grey font on rough cream colored card was not that easiest to read - especially as many lunchtime clients were not that young. Oh and please add volumes of beers to the menu.

Such a beautiful place, serving beautiful food, with beautiful goods to buy and the kindest of staff.
I’ve been every month since it’s open, and am due to go back this weekend. Every time I have left not only incredibly full, but amazed with what Hugo can do in that kitchen! The shop is the perfect place to buy a treat for yourself, or buy a lovely gift for someone.
I’d love to try their Friday night aperitif evenings!

We had the most wonderful evening there celebrating a couple of birthdays, and everything was fantastic - the service, atmosphere and food was especially brilliant. The bread, speck & wild garlic panisse to start were divine, and the pasta was one of the best I've had! They also have a great cocktail & wine list, as well as dessert menu, I went for the Choc & Caramel choux which was delicious. They've really nailed the local and seasonally cooking - I would thoroughly recommend to anyone if they are in the area. They also have a deli and gift shop, so great to pop in during the day and grab some lunch or a coffee (and some treats to take home!)
