I only went here with my mum to pick something up & ended up spending hours in the warehouse & a small fortune 😂
I got some fantastic deals on clothes, food, juice, Cake & other things I really didn't need but I would of been silly not getting it as not only will it work out cheaper in the long run it will be a while before I have to buy more.
I couldn't believe my mum had been coming to Makeo for years and only recently asked if I fancied going with her. Why had I not been before now?
Well I certainly won't leave it to long till my next visit.
We got a slice of hot pizza, a hot dog roll & drink & a Mr whippy ice cream sundae from the food count on the way out & it only cost £5-£6 for everything we got, it tasted great & ment I didn't need to cook when I got home 😁
I waa glad I was able to go that day when I was asked. It's certainly worth the visit even if I never bought anything I'd of been happy just taste tasting products that were being promoted all over the warehouse & the food from the cafe/food court was better, more filling & a lot cheaper than going to a McDonald's & getting a meal deal for one so I will definitely go back again

I ordered 50kg chicken for first time from here in a hope to be regular daily customer but was quite disappointed. when I ordered Thursday and supposed to be picked up on Monday,but when I arrived and asked for my order no one was not aware of it I was quite upset because I didn’t order from my regular butcher and I had to take off the chicken for this day from all the websites and just eat and …ended up to don’t sell chicken. So never trust the butchers there. I would not ordered here again as they lost a daily customer

Good cash and carry in Edinburgh, huge selection, very big range and very good offers. But often they don't stock the offer items enough.

Booker now, so the Makron electricals etc. no longer on sale and it is more warehouse style of Booker, but still good value if willing to buy in bulk

I hadn't been back here for many years when I went in March - it was Makro when I last visited. The guy on reception was very helpful and informative. He sorted out my new card and even found me a trolley, which is in short supply. I was pleasantly surprised at the huge variety of food, drink, kitchenware and household things in the shop.

Can't fault them at all so far. Visited after registering online, got my account sorted and card printed in 10min. Lady at the entrance really polite and friendly.

The most annoying thing are the lazy bastards, who are so lazy to take empty trolleys back to designated bays.

A few good items but prices have now gone up too much, I can get better value at Tesco and Sainsbury's. The empty car park tells a story.

Nice cash and carry for business shopping. Quite spacious and nicely laid out. Good variety of food items and good availability. Halal chicken is available in meat section which is excellent for people who run halal food restaurant/takeaways/shops. Fresh fruit and veg section is nice as well. You can also get some fresh sea food. Staff is friendly and que management is good. Huge parking space available which is great. Prime drink is available now as well
