A wine warehouse right in a handy location. Some great picks, these fellows do stick to the "purchase 6 bottles to get the cheap price" rule. Mind you, with these great picks, most people probably won't mind.

Thoroughly enjoyed an evening of wine tasting at the Docklands branch of Majestic Wines. The staff all made us guests feel so welcome and "at home". Wonderful wines to taste, some great surprises too! This branch is more on the small side, but just go and see how much they pack in there - amazing. Staff are knowledgeable and so helpful, and at no point was there even the slightest hint of pushing sales, really such a lovely atmosphere. Can't wait for their next tasting evening!

Drove down to London from Cambridge last minute to support my partner's sister who was running the marathon. Politely asked if we would be able to use the carpark for a couple of hours and they very generously agreed. Before leaving, we went in to buy a couple of bottles as a way of saying thanks. We had ordered a particular Verdicchio when on holiday a couple of years ago which we haven't been able to find in the UK. The staff in the store took the time to find us a selection of wines each in order for us to select the one we would prefer. They were both extremely polite, informed and enthusiastic, in addition to allowing us some easy parking! Great store, great staff, great selection of wines, very good prices for the quality of wines and, most importantly, extremely friendly staff. Thank you to all at Docklands Majestic.

Good selection of wines in stock. This Majestic has recently changed to be less of a warehouse and more like a shop.
The staff were knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations at all price levels. They were able to discuss the differences between different wines from the same grape.
Once a month there is a guided wine tasting. It is paid for but not a massive amount and certainly less than a couple of glasses in a wine bar.
Overall, a good place to buy wine and, with a discount for buying more than 6 bottles, valuable to the occasional wine buyer and the more knowledgeable buyer.

Exceptionally friendly and personable staff with a good level of knowledge and happy to make recommendations. Prices are fair and there are some nice added bonuses like free glass rental and delivery which are highly appreciated to take complexity out of party planning.
