The tap room open on county/forest match days is a nice stop off offering a cosy but welcome atmosphere - also now open Fri and Sat afternoon. Choice of beers is great and running a good few of their own along with guest beers offering great variety. You can also buy to take away at the bottle shop or buy online and pick up.

Only open on match days at the moment (check social media as website needs updating), this is a great little brewery tap. Well worth a visit, only a 2 minute walk from the Trent Navigation pub, Magpie has a range of tasty beers on keg and cask as well as cans and bottles. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, they do take out, and home deliveries from their website too!

Don't bother visiting, second attempt during advertised opening hours only to find them closed. The Trent Navigation happily was open and the beer was fine

A small microbrewery with excellent beers.
A few craft beers from other breweries are available.
Friendly staff willing to talk about football and brewing techniques.
Now brewing Flipside as well as their own.
A bit hidden down a side street near the football ground but well worth a visit.

Having walked from Mapperley top to the brewery tap on Saturday 27th August (arriving at approx 3:30pm) only to find that the place was closed! Needless to say, I won't be repeating that experience.! If the taproom is only open on match days, then why the hell isn't that made clear on their website?

I had the Cherry Stout for the first time last week loved it so much I went back to my local Co-op this week and bought the rest of their remaining stock absolutely fantastic 10/10 from me.
