They advertise that “All our animals and poultry are compassionately reared and bred being fully traceable and recorded as required by strict health and safety hygiene regulations. Responsible stewardship of the countryside is also a strong element of MB Farm's philosophy.”

I called up to ask about this and the gentleman advised “I have no idea, we just buy the meat in and sell it in the butchers”

Seems rather contradictory or incorrect that they can advertise the above.

Lovely village farm shop selling home reared meat as their main produce. Excellent quality. They also sell a selection of cheese along with other essential food products. Don't expect cheap meat at low prices - this is top notch.

A brilliant local butcher and farm shop. Has even taken the local post office in after the original village shop closed. A good mix of local produce, foodie shop and local store. Probably the best commercially made sausage rolls I've ever had

Regularly uses MB for their excellent quality Butchers. Always a good selection of products, & always excellent quality. Agree you pay a little bit more for that, but the flavour etc is fabulous - at least a chicken breast comes out of the oven the same size as it went in !!!

Great butchers, something for everyone , fabulous vegetables, lots of different extras, homemade butter must try. Old fashioned sweets in jars, lots to try and basics to. Very friendly and helpful. Use it all the time. If you havent been give it a go , you wont be disappointed.
