We stayed at Lumb Beck for one night on a sunny Saturday in April. The farm house is in a very quiet location but within easy driving distance of Ilkley. The gardens and surroundings of the house are beautiful. We enjoyed a cup of tea and home made cake on arrival in the garden. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation (2 bedrooms) were well equipped and traditionally decorated. Both rooms were en suite which was good. Breakfast was superb - much better than what you would get in some hotels! |Overall I would definitely recommend Lumb Beck as a place to stay.

Stayed here with family (wife and 2 young children) back in July for one night. Would love to return one day. Great walks on the doorstep, a great welcome and hospitality from the hosts too. Without one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in! A lovely setting, house and attention to every detail with a personal touch. You'd be hard pushed to find a better B&B breakfast menu anywhere else.

Having stayed in hotels and B&B’s at least 3 nights a week for work for the last 30 years I know a good one when I see it. This B&B was the cleanest I have ever been in, Everything you could conceivably want in the room from iron & board to the most comfortable bed ever is there. You could even forget your night-dress and one is provided. Breakfast was delicious and the welcome genuinely friendly. And special mention must go to Sunny the very small dog; a real cutie pie 🥰 loved everything about our stay; a very special place…

Visiting friends in the area we spent two nights at this superb B&B, wonderfully situated and with the charming Wendy and David as perfect hosts; our bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable, I particulary appreciated the provision of a teapot and a jug of milk in the fridge. Superb breakfasts, stunning gardens and spectacular views; we'll be returning.

Don’t hesitate to stay in this wonderful B and B. Friendly welcome from Wendy and David, clean, comfortable room with bathroom, and amazing breakfasts. The garden is beautiful and guests are free to use it, along with a summerhouse if the weather is cooler. The house is set in lovely countryside with great views and footpaths all around and we loved everything about it.

Just stayed in this beautiful farmhouse with a lovely view of the dales and the garden. The bedroom was very comfortable and the breakfast was terrific. Nothing was too much trouble. |Close to Ilkley this is a great spot for a walking or cycling holiday. |The bed was lovely and the quality of the fixtures and fittings is excellent.

This is definitely our preferred option when visiting Ilkley. Lumb Beck Farmhouse is just outside Ilkley, but it's possible to walk in across the moor. The bedrooms are gorgeous, very clean and well equipped, the beds are all super comfortable with top grade linens. The bathrooms are all well appointed with top notch toiletries supplied. Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfasts are out of this world. It will spoil you for staying anywhere else though ......

Very high standard of Accomodation with wonderful hosts. The setting is perfect if you want a peaceful location with good views. An excellent varied breakfast to start the day. While not a working farm anymore the gardens are worth a walk round.
