Rate this place highly, spent two nights there and had a good wet run up the hill. Great shower block and facilities!
Tracey is lovely and made me feel very welcome. I will be back for sure.

What a great site and location!! The toilets and showers are bonus and the showers must be the most powerful we’ve ever had! The location is perfect for this quiet corner of Cumbria, with easy access to the Duddon estuary and Ulverston on the other side. Sandscale Haws nature reserve is just down the coast for lovely walks and walking (or riding) the Ulverston canal to the sea and visiting the pub at the end makes for a nice afternoon. We can also recommend taking the small foot ferry from Roa Island, across to Piel Island to see the “king”. We definitely hope to return - thank you, Tracy.

This is a very nice site with great views over the fields down to the tidal water, with wind turbines in the very far distance.
The grass is kept nice & short, there are approximately 9 hardstanding pitches with electric & several taps near to the pitches. Beware the pitches aren't flat & take time to get your unit level but well worth it.
There are 2 very clean tiled showers (floor & wall) - (one is suitable for a disabled person), both showers have a toilet, handbasin, mirror & fan.
There's plenty of hot water & the shower attachments are of a good quality (Mira). There is also a toilet with a handbasin available.
No unit is very far from the shower/toilet block.
The only noise you hear is that of the sheep, birds & cattle, with occasional traffic noise in the distance, occasionally you will see a rabbit hopping around.
Recycling is carried out at this working farm.
I would return to this site without any hesitation & would certainly recommend it to others.

Lovely room, very friendly staff. This is a working farm so need be careful driving into accommodation as gates need be closed. Breakfast is really nice but served at 8.30am. Hubby said best black pudding in a long time. It's a quiet place and very dark. Only reason for 4stars is the shower as we couldn't work it properly and was scalding hot.

After checking the availability and reviews on ukcampsites(it’s a few years since our last visit), I gave Tracey a quick call and booked us in for a cheeky night away. The welcome is warm, the views are to die for, the facilities(two family rooms, plus another loo) are modern and immaculate. I almost don’t wish to gush too much as I’d always want a pitch free for me now I’ve a bit more time to tour. Many pitches have a slight slope, but we’ve an 8m Motorhome and managed to level on a set of Triple Milenco. The grass around the hard standing pitches is extremely generous, so much so a visitor arriving after us drove onto the grass between us and our neighbour, I believe thinking it was another pitch!! In addition they also have a B&B on site. Perfect for those non-vanning friends and family. So glad we came back and can’t wait to pop up there again very soon.

Probably one of our favourite ever sites. We almost had the whole site to ourselves. It is so peaceful. The kids loved the space/freedom and being on a farm. The shower rooms are great and very spacious. We will definitely plan a future visit
