Another fabulous stay at Low Hagg - we love our visits here. Cottage was lovely & immaculate as always, has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Also a great well fenced garden for our furry friend, which is a must in my book. So peaceful & fab dog walks from the doorstep, & only a short drive to local pretty towns & the moors. Tracy & Patrick are so friendly & helpful & on hand if you need them. Great welcoming touches & highly recommend Tracy’s lemon drizzle cake - yum yum 😋 Have already booked to go back next year, if you’ve never been & love the countryside this place is a must to stay!

Had a fabulous week in Grouse cottage. So comfy and welcoming. Spotlessly clean and felt totally safe during these covid times. So many fabulous personal little touches, wine and water in the fridge, beautiful homemade cake and even dog biscuits for our dogs. Tracy was lovely, so helpful and totally there if we needed her, but not if we didn't. Great for dogs, safe closed in garden and Tracy supplied throws and towels for them. Great location, secluded and quiet, but a very short ride from so many beautiful villages with lots and lots of lovely walks. Loved our week, hope to go back.

Lovely week spent at Low Hagg Farm. Pheasant cottage is a clean, comfy, roomy 6 berth cottage. The kitchen is well equipped for all self catering needs. There is plenty of living space for 6 + the dog friendly garden is superb for outdoor dining + relaxing. The bathroom is spacious + shower pretty decent. Friendly, helpful owners live on site. Would definitely recommend + hope to return! Thank you Tracey! 😊

On arrival everything was perfect as usual, great attention to detail. Always a warm welcome from Tracy, Patrick and the dogs they make you feel like friends. Location is tranquil set in stunning scenery, the views never disappoint.
Accommodation is first class and so comfortable. So many beautiful walks, the moors is absolutely stunning.
We’ve been having a family winter holiday since 2012, wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. A great place to unwind.

very enjoyable stay ! we stayed in grouse cottage for four nights which was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish !, the cottage was excellently equipped and furnished to a
really nice standard , we felt really comfortable there, it was lovely and clean , the garden space was nice and tidy and plenty of room for us to enjoy and sit out , we took our little dog with us and there was loads of lovely walks and places to visit nearby , we would recommend this place , the owners Tracy and Patrick were friendly and accommodating , hope to visit again soon .

Grouse cottage is warm, cosy and immaculate. One of the best dog friendly cottages I've stayed in. Myself and my dogs where met on arrival with a warm welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Tracy and Patrick are fantastic hosts. I would recommend to anyone and i will be back.

This cottage and location suited our needs perfectly. We soon found that it was very well equipped and very clean. It made a change not having to clean the kitchen before preparing food as we have had to do at other places. Lovely fruit cake on arrival and the fresh flowers was also a nice touch.
We have 3 dogs and the garden is of good size, laid to lawn and secure.
Car parking is sensible in that you are permitted to park adjacent to the cottage to load/unload. You then park your car at the entrance to the farm which is only about 60 yards away.
Good facilities for household rubbish and recycling and for the dog poo!
Owners are friendly and do not impose themselves on you at all.
Although cottages are attached the walls are thick and you are not disturbed by the neighbours.
Nothing is perfect, but this is as near as it gets, and we have booked next year already.

Just back home after our 8th visit to Pheasant Cottage, it was fantastic. The stand of cleanliness was a credit to the team and was to such a high standard it was faultless. Great location, lovely secure garden for our dog, and lovely owners too, can't wait to come back for Christmas.
