This is a nice, cozy place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I tried the chocolate cake, and it was perfectly balanced in sweetness. It paired really well with a cup of coffee. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a comfortable spot with great desserts.

This place was pretty decent, it’s a nice little shop with a good-looking cake selection. Their drinks are beautifully made no matter what you get, and their croissants are huge and delicious. We got some kind of raspberry cake and a banana one and they were delicious.

A relaxing coffee and good spot that that is perfect for hanging out with a book and friends. Lots of seating and overall a quiet (low noise) spot for as busy as it is on a weekend.

Lovecrumbs has a nice vibe, and the wait was short. The cakes were the highlight—absolutely delicious. However, the coffee was a huge letdown, especially at £4.10 per small cup; it lacked quality and didn’t measure up to well known competitors. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return. Also, the toilet needs serious attention—dripping and falling apart, it’s far from inviting. Disappointing overall.

My favourite cafe in Edinburgh. Just the coziest, quirkiest, coolest atmosphere and lovely staff. Cheese toasties are out of this world (try the one with fennel salami) and the cakes and baked goods are always tempting. Lovecrumbs always has something a little different on their menu and is a great place for coffee with friends, some remote working, or just chilling out. I love Lovecrumbs!

Such a lovely little cafe with a chilled atmosphere! The perfect place to relax and read a book. The coffee and tea was lovely! The cakes looked unbelievable! I wish they were gluten-free. Staff were friendly too.

Coffee was awful, so bitter and over-extracted it left my throat dry. I’ve never experienced anything like it, so much so that I’m almost impressed. Staff were very rude from the off so I didn’t bother trying to ask them to remake the coffee, just saved myself the trouble and left. The decor is quaint and looks welcoming, but I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a (very empty) cafe in my life.
