My experience with Loder Plants was exceptional. Having spent years searching for rhododendrons and azaleas online and in person, I believe the selection here is excellent. I have a special interest in species rhododendrons and azaleas from the 'Wilson's 50', but it is rare to find anyone who has even heard of the latter let alone who has several examples in stock. I received expert information from Chris Loder on the phone, and after making my purchase the plants arrived the very next day in perfect condition. I am delighted with them and will be buying again.

I ordered 3 types of hydrangea from Loder and was amazed at not only the speed with which they were dispatched, but the care of the packaging and the condition of the plants when they arrived. Loder Plants were able to supply a Loderi King George Rhododendron which had been very difficult to track down! What's more, it was delivered, healthy and happy within 48 hours for their standard delivery charge. Will definitely be using their services again - the distance between West Sussex and Mid Devon apparently presents no problems!

Wow! Thank you so much! I ordered from New Zealand only 28 hours ago (3 Days before Christmas) and it has already arrived Southend-on-sea!! I was also not expecting to be able to find a hydrangea in the middle of winter, when they are dormant and have no leaves, but it was in stock and has some lovely buds on it.

I was very disappointed with the Orange azalea I bought for my father’s 70th birthday. It arrived packaged in a box, it was extremely dry and the leaves were drooping and covered in mildew- not something to give as a gift. With postage on top I paid £40 for the plant. When I called Loder plants they said that it was a deciduous plant so It will lose all it’s leaves anyway. He also said that if I had said it was for a birthday he would have been able to suggest something else. If a product you are selling is below standard then surely it shouldn’t be selling on your website or at least it should be substantially reduced in price? As it stands he offered me no discount or refund, pitiful product and poor customer service. I recommend buying plants online from another seller.

Just want to say a big thank you for my 10 x Annabelle Hydrangeas that were delivered to me in perfect condition. They are the healthiest plants I’ve ever seen delivered and by far the best Annabelle hydrangeas I have ever bought.
