I'm not usually a cider drinker but Pomona opened my eyes to how incredible the world of cider can be! Susanna and James were excellent hosts, accommodating to our tastes based around the wine and beer we'd usually drink. Safe to say they are experts at what they do and I'd recommend them and their ciders (and perrys!) to anyone. Thank you Little Pomona for adding another highlight to our trip to Brook House Farm!

I think boutique cider here in the UK might be an acquired taste that I have not yet developed (used to the mass-produced stuff) so I'm not going to review that, having a 'virgin' palette, but the place is nice tucked away behind a little farm (veer left when you come to farm house to get to the cidery, the sign showing direction is very small).

Spacious 'meadow' setting outside with tables to picnic at (bring own food) and enjoy a tasting.

The person who served us was pleasant and helpful. Husband (who makes beer and cider as a hobby back home in Australia) had a long chat with him and he recommended a cider-making book.

If you do enjoy 'real' cider, try ordering 1/3's of a few varieties and follow the notes on the menu for a tasting.

Amazing cider tasting experience! Susanna was incredible, she helped arrange an entire cider tour for myself and my family visiting for the weekend, even though it was out of season.
James conducted the tour/cider tasting, they are so unique and knowledgeable, the surrounding areas are beautiful and not to mention delicious cider!
They made the tour so welcoming and special for us, I would highly recommend, it's an experience we keep talking about and will never forget!

Fantastic place to visit! We got such a warm welcome and the place is very interesting. Sue is so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We loved it. Top quality ciders! We planned to stay for half an hour and ended up being there for 1.5 hours. The dog is lovely too. A 100% 'must visit' on the cider trail.

Got gifted a few bottles of cider for my birthday and I must say It wasn’t what I was expecting.
The cider was very thin and extremely acidic and very tasteless.
I was really looking forward to these ciders and I was extremely disappointed.
These ciders are not traditional ciders as I was lead to believe.
My taste is more on traditional cider not boutique.
This is my honest opinion on this cider company.

Fantastic local cider makers, lovely outside seating area and a good variety of drinks available. Cider I bought was brilliant, fresh, crisp and full of flavour. Lady who I spoke to was really friendly and gave me lots of information about the drinks and helped me made my choice. Definitely worth a visit and supporting local.

If you’re walking the Herefordshire Trail, this is one stop you can’t miss.

Wassail! Harvest 2022 Open Day on our first visit to Little Pomona was a wonderful induction into craft cider making.

James & Susanna spoke so passionately about this year’s harvest. We learned about the process from bud to bottle, tasted the fruit on its first press, and then sampled the many new ciders, perries and other fermented beverages.

Having done tours around some of the world’s vineyards, few owners share their passion as well as these artisanal cider makers and their friends who were there today.

An amazing experience, and the cider was the best I’ve ever tasted.

Will definitely return and try the cheese pairings.
