The new interior is tasteful and inviting from the outside. Had a jambon beurre (£7.50) which was decent if unspectacular with side of very good skin on fries (£5). Felt it was a bit confused as to whether it was trying to be a cafe or a cocktail bar without really succeeding at either. Atmosphere was fine but there were several tables left with dishes needing cleared that remained unattended during our visit, despite it not being that busy, but staff were very friendly.

This is a great wee place to sit and chill or people watch. It's right next to the Playhouse, so it's ideal for having pre show drinks. I just dropped in for a latte, which was very nice and at a surprisingly good price, considering the location ( I thought it would have been more expensive). The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets are downstairs, these were clean and tidy.

Came in here on a Sunday afternoon.
Very friendly pleasant staff.
Appreciate the huge effort that has gone in to renovate the old Habana to create this bar but it just lacked atmosphere.
No doubt many people like it but just not for us.

Lovely stylish new bar right in the centre of Edinburgh! They’ve done wonders redeveloping the old Habana bar into something with lots of atmosphere. Light, fresh and modern decor with a good selection of cocktails, mocktails, wine and spirits. Much bigger than it looks with lots of seats hidden up the stairs. Madrid’s Mahou on tap a firm favourite here. Good service and a chilled vibe. All this, and Laurel and Hardy performed next door too! Recommended.

Have been in Little Pucardy a number of times since it opened and have always had an unfaultable service experience from staff who are well informed, conversational and with confidence to make suitable recommendations. Until recently they have not had food available due to kitchen licencing so we were happy to see this has now changed and popped in last night (5th May 2025) for a bite. As much as what we had was utterly delicious, sadly the portion size was incredible small on both of their salads (which are advertised as large on the menu). At £11.50 I would have expected more than a salad beautifully presented but that nearly covered the bottom of the bowl. Furthermore, whilst having both salads available for vegan choices is great, it should be made clearer that this is intact the standard and not a choice....for the beetroot salad to have vegan feta, I can imagine for some would not be hitting the right notes. Sadly our 2 salads were so small we also had to order a cheeseboard to share. For the price (£84.00 all in, including 4 Aperol Spritz and 2 g&t) i felt we would have been more satisfied at the Italian restaurant opposite. Reduce the price, provide an option to make the dish vegan as opposed to it being the standard and definitely increase portion size before we consider dining there again. Shame as the food we did get was delicious, just lacking in value for money when compared to other offerings nearby.

My partner and I stopped in here during Fringe week (visiting from the US). Great drinks, staff was very welcoming, and vibe was perfect. We plan to stop in again before we leave. Thanks.

Newly reopened after renovation. Nice design. Cocktails from £10, no food (olives , almonds and crackers only, croissants in the morning). Dog friendly. No atmosphere, which is a pitty.
