I was looking forward to my visit to see Bored Marsh at Liquid Light. I am a massive supporter of local independent venues and try and get to as many as I can. Unfortunately, my lasting memory of the venue isn't great due to the lovely lady who was either a staff member or connected to the staff after I tried to purchase a can of non alcoholic lager from the fridge, next to the bar. I was told after taking it from the fridge (in no uncertain terms) that I would have to pay for the can, I said to her that I was well aware of that! OK, I thought I'll take the can and queue up and pay for it the bar. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough for said lady, who snatched the can out of my hand and told me to pay for it at the bar. I went on to purchase the can for my friend, after seeing the lady discussing the episode with her friend/colleague and went on to sit outside, missing the 2nd half of the band's set as I was so annoyed at being labelled as some petty thief! Ah well, won't be coming back, which is a shame as the venue was nice and the beer was nice! Maybe sort out how to deal with people who want a can out of the fridge though.........

Great beer(ales(cask beer head hugs the glass on way down, very well kept), sours
and ciders), atmosphere and food( lovely fresh dough pizza with vegan cheese options). Lovely owners too. Can't quite believe I didn't know about this gem sooner. No hangover either!

I recently organized a brewery tour and tasting for a group of friends and decided to visit Liquid Light Brewery with a group of friends. As someone who frequently arranges brewery visits, I’ve had my fair share of experiences, but I can honestly say that Thom, the head brewer, stood out. His extensive knowledge and warm hospitality were truly impressive, and his beers are among the best I’ve ever tasted. Our entire group, ranging from ages 18 to 62, unanimously agreed that Thom was exceptional.

The experience was fantastic, and Thom's passion for brewing was evident in his generous and engaging nature. Mock D, who handled the food during the tasting, also went above and beyond with the food options, adding to the overall enjoyment. We will definitely be returning, and next time, we plan to bring our partners along. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making this visit memorable

Great taproom. Well decorated, a fridge of their own cans, a couple of cask lines and a lot of keg.

Permanent vegan (I think) food van on site too.

Met the brewer at an event in Sheffield, was nice to have a chat. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area - breweries need support!

Attended an event here. It's a great venue with some nice beers. I tried Oscillations, Obscured by Clouds, Spellbound and Ramble On which were all very good. The vegan food by Mocky-D was fantastic.

Well worth the walk over to a more out the way part of town. Good choice of keg beers and 4 cask. The bar is in an industrial unit, among the brewing equipment, so don't expect it to be fancy- there was a chilled out, relaxed atmosphere, good beer, friendly staff and decent music.

A bit off the beaten track but they do excellent beers, the staff are friendly, there's good tunes and a street fighter 2 arcade cabinet on free play, and the food from the poutine wagon was superb. Will definitely aim for here next time I'm in Nottingham.

Great beer selection Cask & Keg, plus great music selection in background. Pizza option good to have also. Well worth checking out literally a stones throw from Sneinton Market
