Excellent, staff super helpful and friendly great service, the cafe itself is charming and would definitely recommend the outdoor area. Love that they use old vintage tea pots and cups and saucers, the food was excellent especially the scones the raisin scone I had was one of the best I’ve had in years loved it.

Visited The Lion Rock Tea Room for breakfast, absolutely stunning place. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staffs and shown to our table. Not long after a staff came and took our order and the food didn’t take long to arrive on the table.
We ordered the mini vegan and the meat breakfast, let’s just say the there was nothing mini about the breakfast.
The dish was packed with flavours, fresh produces. The sausage was just out of this world, I cannot stress how amazing this breakfast was.
If you’re visiting Cheddar Gorge, you have to visit The Lion Rock Team Room, you won’t be disappointed.

What can I say about this little gem? It was a lucky stop for lunch for us. The food was delicious (Vegan. Vegetarian and gluten free here) and was well accommodated by a very kind and knowledgeable waitress. The prices were great. The food delicious. The atmosphere was super relaxed and friendly. I wish I could give more than 5*! Thanks so much!!

My friends and I visited Lion Rock Tea Rooms for a late lunch / afternoon tea after visiting the Gorge for a walk. We found the tea rooms to be very uniquely and charmingly decorated with a cosy atmosphere. We were served by a very friendly and helpful member of staff and we were all highly impressed by the level of service and quality of food and drink. I had a delicious mushroom soup and my friends all enjoyed a sandwich and cream tea. I’d definitely recommend a visit.

don't want to be dramatic but literally the best breakfast I've ever had!!!! The environment 10/10 food 10000/10 staff 10/10 😍 highly recommend will most definitely be coming back on a regular basis 🫶🏼 sooooo cute I cant cope

Consider booking ahead and reserving a table, as this place will be busy and deservedly so. Great menu of gorgeous food, with an excellent loose leaf tea selection. They serve a large amount of local produce, with an obvious strength in obvious options such as cheese. There is a lovely and relaxing garden outdoors seating option. The portions are as generous as the food is served hot and fresh.
