A great family butchers situated in the heart of Shildon. Friendly service and a chance to chat. All the meat is first class and very reasonably priced. They are also bakers so produce amazing meat pies and different types of pork pies, apple is my favourite. You can also find tray bakes, small cakes and biscuits. A better alternative to buying from the supermarket.

Succulent sausages, best for miles around, different weekly recipes. Old Yorkshire and traditional English or black pepper and onion are lovely. Poultry, beef and pies are amazing, staff provide top notch service.

Meat is top quality, top faves of mine are the traditional English sausage another best around.

We are a big fan of steak. Bought steak from every supermarket and every type they sell.

Got 2x thick cut sirlions today and they cooked amazing. Fat is quality, good marble and tender, flavourful beef. Far superior to any supermarket around here.

First time I went in yesturday very friendly my partner got half a pound of bacon was so nice I had to go get some more today the black pudding is the best I've ever had looking forward to my rump steaks for tea.(they were lovely)
