Myself and my wife are first time buyers and have to use lifetime legal for a proof of funds check to secure our dream house. It has been 6 weeks since the offer was accepted, and we are still going through the proof of funds check. We provided all documents as requested and were told if they needed anything else we would be contacted. We had no contact, we now have to chase daily to see what is happening and why no one has verified our documents. This is seriously delaying the house buying process for us.
