Bought a traditional Cornish pasty yesterday which was delicious and this morning we had the most wonderful pork sausages and bacon. Prices equalled the preservative, additive and nitrate rubbish you get from the supermarket so this place is a no brainer

Fantastic quality meat, great range and super friendly and helpful. (Showstopping homemade Cornish pasties too - impossible to go back to mass-produced versions after tasting one hot from the oven.) Definitely a local treasure and possibly a national one - we are fast losing local shops like this one, with deep roots in their communities, and don't realise what we are missing until it's gone for good. A little more expensive than supermarket equivalents of course, but the quality is so, so much higher. What a treat to find and enjoy here.

If you are thinking of getting pasties from this butchers I have driven there more than once only to be let down very disappointed went in to get frozen pasties the lady brought them out to sell them to me but the butcher said that she couldn't sell them to me what a waste of time driving there not happy

Really lovely friendly and helpful people here. We had a recent holiday in Cornwall and searched for the best Cornish Pasties to take home. Tried many top rated Pasties in the area, but the ones from Liddicoat Butchers were by far the best. Perfect pastry, filling and seasoning. Bought hot in store and frozen to take home. Back for my fourth pasty in as many weeks. Quality delicious pasties from the butchers here. Have had some beautiful ribeye steaks from here as well. Blows supermarket meat out the water, absolutely delicious. Taking some burgers home today, looking forward to more delicious food from liddicoat!
