Fabulous historic water mill - the only one still in operation in Norfolk and source of my favourite flour! Thanks for a wonderful and informative visit. Got to see the mill in operation and did the tour, followed by the best chocolate cake in the world (the Victoria sponge and carrot cake were pretty good too! 😜). Thanks Michelle. Will be back!

I'd love to give the tearoom here a nice review, unfortunately I can't. Tried to visit on numerous occasions to find it closed. Tried for the last time today. It was open and we went inside to order, (we were sitting outside). "Do you do pots of tea"? we asked. The reply we got was "Well, we can, but we're closing in 7 minutes. We do have children to collect you know". Great way to run a business. Anyway, we went of to Hetties Tea Room at Holt Country Park and gave them our business instead and I would thoroughly recommend them, their staff are so welcoming, unlike this place.

For breakfast we had the full English with toast, orange juice and coffee, it was delicious.
The disable facilties were excellent.

Checked opening times on line before leaving on the 70 mile trip. Upon arrival we were greeted with a printed notice stating that it was closed today owing to "unforeseen circumstances", "sorry for any inconvenience". Well, not half as sorry as we were.

Was disappointed by our visit to the café. My Dad had seen something on TV and wanted to visit when he was here on holiday. Before the café was set up I did use the shop to buy their lovely flour, but I think the café could be smarter, windows are broken with huge cobwebs, seating not that nice. The Americano coffee I ordered was in a small tea cup so very overpriced. We ordered and had to wait for quite a while and they forgot something so our hot drinks sat there why the remedied it. The cake I ordered was quite heavy and claggy which I didn't expect from a flour mill. The setting outside is so lovely but I think the café could be improved.
