Room: Super cozy!! Very comfortable, and well kept. Slightly on the smaller end but I cannot complain. My suitcase and all my stuff fit very well. Bathroom was great as well! Shower was hot and worked very well along with all facilities.

Service: breakfast was made fresh and so tasty! The hostess was super friendly, and quite pleasant. Sheโ€™s been in the industry for many years and her level of professionalism, kindness, and care really shows it.

Location: Although a bit far out of town if youโ€™re looking to explore Inverness, the farm location provides the COOLEST experience. The farm owner was super kind as we walked around the farm. It was great to wake up and see sheep lying down and resting just outside, or watch the horse and cows graze in the distance.

Highly recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit near Inverness, or are stopping off for the night on a road trip!

We visited Iain to watch the sheedog demonstration, which was fantastic! Very impressive dogs. As there were only 6 of us we had time for lots of pictures with the dogs, to visit with all the animals, and chat with Iain about the ups and downs of running a large farm. A welcoming and personal experience and a highlight of our visit to Scotland.

What a supremely lovely stay! Room was comfortable, breakfast was fantastic, and the sheep dog demo was a blast. Iain was incredibly warm and welcoming to us tourists. We could not have asked for more from our stop here.

Beautiful B&B in a working farm setting. Highly recommend asking to watch the working dog demonstration, best to ask while booking so they can fit you in. Rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. We only got to stay for one whole day but itโ€™s a perfect weekend getaway, or worthy for a stop on your vacation journey. Itโ€™s not a far drive from Inverness and within walking distance of a few ancient sites to visit.

Ours was a small, but comfortable twin room with all you need including tea, coffee and snacks. The view from out window included sheep which we enjoyed watching. The lounge is spacious and comfortable and the sunny dining room with its vistas of glass for 180 degree views of the farm makes for a relaxing and beautiful time. Roseann and Ian were very helpful and accommodating.

Dogs were in reasonable control of the sheep, shepherd could (almost) be understood. We saw both a very young, and a very experienced dog herding the sheep. We arrived a bit late but were expected so an assistant waited for us at the parking lot, following us to the demonstration site a few hundred meters away.

We were made very welcome by the owner. The room and en-suite were spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely breakfast served in a conservatory with a view over the surrounding countryside. Very peaceful location but just six miles from Inverness.

A wonderful first night stay in Scotland! Upon arrival, we were immediately lulled into relaxation by the surrounding hills and greenery covered in sheep! Rosanne greeted us warmly and showed us to our lovely room. All had a simple yet high quality Highland feel. We were treated to a most amazing sheepdog demonstration by Iain, a most enthusiastic gentleman!|breakfast in the conservatory with an all glass enclosure was doubly special between a delicious Scottish breakfast and beautiful view of the Highland countryside. we highly recommend staying at Leanach farm.
