The Last of The Summer Wine Museum & Shop is simply excellent! If you are a fan of the world's longest running TV sitcom then you just have to come here! You will be mesmerised at the displays, the TV show memories, the uniqueness of the show and cast, from the golden era of British Television. Although fairly small in size and requiring about 30 minutes to visit, at £4.00 per person entry, this should not detract from how special this place actually is! A great tribute to a really wonderful TV show. Thank-you. 🙂

A bit overpriced for what is there but I'm glad I went. The "gift shop" is a little sparce. Everything I wanted was either out of stock or discontinued. All that said any fans of the series would like it.

Nice collection of props etc from the loved TV series and lots of information on the 'story' of the show.
Gift shop has lots of memorabilia to buy. The ornaments in the glass cabinet are particularly good.
Worth a visit if you're a fan and in the area. There's plenty of cafes Holmfirth and even Sid's Cafe is an up and running cafe so you can grab a bite there ... if it's not busy!

They refuse to answer emails

Update…. NOTHING for six months, very disappointed that a group promised a service, lied, And refused any type of contact.

Great series, too bad there are underhanded individuals praying on fans of the show

Legends were created here in Holmfirth, Yorkshire, where the world famous 'Last of The Summer Wine' was filmed, (along with Hepworth just down the road). For those of you who are fans of the show, this is a must to come and visit. So much to see and do in this amazing town, set in the beautiful Yorkshire Downs. When walking about it is as though you expect to bump in Howard and Marina, up to their tricks, or see a red Triumph Herald being driven recklessly around! But no, that is all a dream, as most of the cast have now sadly gone, they remained friends forever. Many pubs and restaurants to visit, most of which appeared in the series, along with many shops and museums, you can even stay at Nora Battys' cottage, self-catering, but you would need to book at least a year in advance, as this is extremely popular. I recommend a visit here for at least a week to take in all the tours and the walks. Highly recommended, especially the official 'Last of The Summer Wine' tour. 5 star

Spent a whole day here,a walk round the shops to start with, then a cup of coffee, tins of coke at Sids Cafe, then a tour of Last of the Summer Wine Country, on an old bus, which they even let dogs on,driven by an old boy who takes you up and down country lanes, giving a. bit of history and background to what you were passing very informative

A small but interesting exhibition, Unless you watch the TV program reviewing the series then you'll only need about 15-30 mins to see it all. £3 entry for adults
