Quite regularly I go directly to Lakenham Creamery to purchase the delicious ice cream, I am always warmly greeted by the gentleman that answers the bell, the ice cream is just the best and very reasonably priced for such quality. All in all it is always a pleasant experience to shop here. Wishing you continued success.

This is probably THE best ice cream I've had. A small company that has been in business for over 100 years, it has been winning awards for years - well deserved.

The mascarpone and fig was delicious and I'm looking forward to the butterscotch.

I've been buying from them for about 2 decades, mostly from their Trafalgar St base, but occasionally from Norwich market.

The style quite close to Italian gelato, and a world away from fluffed up supermarket ice-creams. Putting it out of the freezer for 15-20 minutes before serving makes it easier to scoop out the tub, but I think also enhances the flavours.

Which flavours to recommend?
Vanilla always a good benchmark to decide if you like the style.
Cinnamon is a regular favourite (though I still miss the sweet spice and nutmeg that preceded it). It's wonderful with apple pie / strudel.
Passion-fruit or Mango are vibrantly fruity

Plenty of others to choose from, with only the 2-3 'cream' ones not much to my taste.

Small little independent ice cream makers, in the heart of Norwich City. I have bought my ice cream for many years. Great selection of flavours and some seasonal ones aswell.

They also supply to the catering trade so will look at who they supply and go for a local fix.

Visited Lakenham creamery today, met the lovely owner and staff, interesting chats with them all! Great to try some of the different, (all delicious) flavours. Seriously good ice cream! Inspiring.

What a treasure chest of ice cream flavours and having just tasted the lemon sorbet that has now become top of our faves - it is like a wonderful sherbet - so smooth and light and needless to say very moreish so 5 stars +++ thank you

We discovered Lakenham Creamery when we moved to the area about 6 years ago. We had previously never eaten so much ice cream. It’s all delicious. The Norfolk County is lovely and creamy but the new Aldous flavours are excellent too. The staff at the factory are so friendly and enthusiastic about their products. It’s a pleasure to visit.
Until we tasted this ice cream we thought that flavour was just another word.
