Came across this when visiting Verdant but Lacuna is definitely worth a visit in it's own right. Tasty, juicy beers, knowledgeable staff. Super friendly informal tap room. Will definitely be back and will look out for their beers in bars and bottle shops.

Let's start with the IPA (called IPA). The look might come as a surprise to some drinkers because it's in the hazy, highly hopped American style. The hops are right out in front for aroma and taste, leaving a really pleasing citrus aftertaste without the extremes of a NEIPA. Shame it was lunchtime and I could only have a half.
My wife had the lager (called Lager) which has a clean malty style without being too gassy. The only British brewed lager she's ever enjoyed, shame it wasn't hot and sunny.
One star almost lost for the view, which is an industrial estate. Star returned for not bothering to think up stupid beer names that nobody finds funny.
