As someone who enjoys Lacons Ales at my local pub, I have now visited the brewery a couple of times to buy some bottles.
Both times, I was looked after by the head brewer who opened the shop and was happy to talk ale and help me to choose from some specialist bottles not available in my local, helping me out to my car with my purchases.
Service was excellent, I could not fault my welcome as a visitor, nor the product.
Hopefully, I will check out the visitor area proper soon

While on a weekend in Yarmouth, on an offchance went into the Lacons brewery. Blown away by Joe the Head Brewer showing us around the museum, and then offering us a tour of the brewery the following day. Not expected at all. Very knowlegeable and personable, and this unexpected treat thoroughly made our weekend. Bought more beer than we should have but, what the hell!!

It was shut when we arrived but they quite happily opened up the shop and museum for us. The very friendly chap showed us round we had a very good chat about the past present and future of this great brewery. Needless to say I purchased some beer, a t-shirt and other memorabilia. This is well worth the effort to visit and excellent to see the return of Lacons to Gt. Yarmouth.

Pros - great packaging, very environmentally friendly and reduced waste.

Label design is so cool and love it.

Most important aspect - flavour. Top notch and perfection. In fact perfect day is drinking Lacons whilst watching Norwich City and listening to TNC.
