For one of the smaller garden centres ive visited it had a good range of products. We had a full english in the restuarant. It was presented well and the sausage was particularly tasty. Cost was comparable to other centres. The decor in the restaurant was bright unlike so many which can be a bit bland and school canteen like. Service with a smile topped it off

Great selection of plants and garden pots at good prices. Landscaping and patio slabs, basically everything you need for the garden. A bonus is the on-site restaurant serving delicious lunches, service was excellent too.

Very large so has almost everything you could want. The plants all looked very healthy & were so well set out that it looked a bit like a park! It also had local foodstuffs, gifts & clothes. It has a cafe & restaurant but I didn't use those.

Alison and Rhys (Reece?) were so helpful, helped us choose correct soil and put in our car. There was a tall younger guy with blonde longish hair who helped us pick the correct plant to replace our box bush but didn’t catch his name. Really friendly helpful staff

Nags Hall Resturant - i dont often leave a review but feel i should. Staff, nice, food not so. Welsh Rarebitt, no cheese in sight! A cheese sauce on toast! Bizzare and dissapointing. Tasted like a synthetic cheese spread with worcester sauce. Too much money for something not that great, not what you were expecting and you could do better at home !

A birthday present from my husband, I attended an evening presentation by Geoff Stebbings at the Betchworth site on summer bulbs which included a two course meal. It was absolutely fabulous - the food was excellent, the talk incredibly informative and the staff very welcoming. Not only that, but we received a £5 plant gift as we left.
I returned last week with a few more friends who similarly enjoyed the same hospitality. It was another wonderful evening and we have all rushed home to put what we learned in to practice.

I am keeping my eye out for the next few events to attend.

Feeling annoyed! Usually a nice experience, I was disappointed with Knights Garden Centre Cafe today.
We arrived at the cafe at 3.35pm, having finished our shopping, and ready for a drink and cake. The cafe closes at 4pm. However, when we went in much of the cafe was closed off and was already being cleaned. It was hard to find a chair with a soft seat, which I find necessary, but eventually we did. We bought coffee and tea and cake, I am gluten free so was very pleased to see a whole gluten free cabinet of several cakes. But the cake was disappointing, very dry, and a bit stale. It was as if it had sat out for several days and wasn't nice at all.
Then as we were sitting and having our drinks and cakes there were people sweeping the floor and cleaning up, as if they couldn't wait for us to leave. At 4pm on the dot we were told the cafe was closed, we had finished and were just going, but we didn't need to be told this as if they just wanted us to go.
