Our three families all had the best stay at Knaveswell Farm. The safari tents are brilliant, fully equipped with everything you need including comfortable beds, your own toilet and shower and even power - the perfect glamping experience! Jo and Paul were great hosts, even showing the kids around the farm - they loved meeting the calves! We had a great time exploring the local area - looking for fossils at Kimmeridge and getting the stream train to Corfe Castle. We enjoyed marshmallows around the fire pit and relaxing in the beautiful countryside. Thank you for the best time - we’d highly recommend to everyone looking for a fun family glamping trip in the Jurassic Coast!

We recently returned to Knaveswell, having held our wedding there nearly 10 years ago. The tents are amazing, with comfortable beds and good quality pillows/duvets. The tents are spacious and have everything you could need for a camping weekend. The site itself is very picturesque, with plenty of space for children to run around, and our kids (5 & 7) enjoyed visiting the farm animals and collecting eggs. With only 5 tents, well positioned, the site feels very private and the tents, being set a little higher than the field, have lovely views. Jo is a fantastic host and it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to return to such a special spot.

Contrary to the other reviews we had a disappointing stay this October half term. ||The location is nice but having stayed in a lot of other safari style accommodation such a featherdown farms, there were a few areas that were not as nice and we were a bit disappointed.||The main issue was the quality of two of the mattresses in the tent we were given were awful. |- the cupboard bed mattress was like Lying on springs (see pic)|- the master mattress was so soft it would give anyone back ache and had mould on it|We flagged to the host who was far from apologetic and actually made me feel bad for mentioning! In the end she said we could move to one other tent which was made up but sadly the mattresses were equally awful . We did find some better ones in an unmade up tent and were left to swap them over (I would have expected the host to offer to help with this and maybe check in once to check all was ok)||Tip if you do decide to stay.....|- I would take some torches / electric lights for the bedrooms as one candle lantern does make it very hard to see (this is in the info)|- If you like wine out of a glass I would take some wine glasses (only plastic is offered)|||I hope this feedback is helpful ||

We have just returned from a fantastic break at Knaveswell Farm in the Glamping Tents. The tents are fantastic, cosy yet spacious. Out the front of the tents is a small field large enough for games for adults or kids. With the back drop a field of cattle. No noise could be heard from the farm although a very small walk away. The farm is located in a perfect location for easy access to Corfe Castle and Swanage. Jo and Paul were great hosts and took the time to speak to us about the farm. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will certainly return.

We just spent 2 incredible nights in this little slice of heaven, Jo was very welcoming and provided us with everything we could ever ask for. The kids loved collecting fresh eggs from the chickens each morning and greeting the piggies and visiting the calf's. Set in a fabulous location with gorgeous accommodation to match, evenings spent drinking on the veranda and watching the rolling hills change colour as the sun sets. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We were lucky enough to find Knaveswell Farm, a hidden gem in our fav part of Dorset! We were able to hire out all safari tents and cottage to host our wedding weekend celebrations with our family and friends. From the very beginning, all our questions were quickly answered and they went above and beyond sorting out our visions and wishes for the best weekend ever! The tents were super clean and comfy, We would recommend for family gatherings that want the perfect field space outside the tents and glamping experience, can't wait to stay again sometime soon

A very comfortable 4 night stay. Tent was spacious and spotless and set in idyllic surroundings. Slight problem with the hot water but was fixed immediately. Was even offered the use of an additional shower in the farmhouse! Excellent hosts. Highly recommended all round.

I have just returned home from a lovely week staying in one of the five safari tents at Knaveswell Farm with my family (2 adults, a three year old and a four month old). The tents are spacious and have everything you need. I’m not a fan of camping… but I’m definitely a fan of glamping! ||Within each ‘tent’ (they’re more like cabins) there is a wood-burner (with a regular supply of wood and kindling nearby), a very comfortable double-bed and then a separate room with two single beds and a cabin bed-esque attached to the lounge area. Within the kitchen area there is clean running water (which you can drink), both hot and cold and lots of useful utensils and pots and pans. There is a very large cool box that acts as a fridge - you replace the ice packs daily from up on the farm. We had no problems keeping our food cool.||There is a separate toilet and shower room at the back of each tent. These are both very nice too.|Outside of the tent is a cool barbecue barrel with a supply of coal. |The tents were very clean and comfortable.||The farm itself is lots of fun - my three-year old thoroughly enjoyed checking the hen-house each morning for fresh eggs and feeding our leftover food to the pigs. We also enjoyed watching Paul milk the cows.||The local area is really lovely - Swanage is very close and has a nice little beach and a couple of shops to buy food, etc… We also enjoyed visiting Poole via the Studland chain ferry. We found lots of crabs and interesting sea creatures in Kimmeridge Bay. Our three year old loved going on the steam train from Swanage to Corfe Castle and back! ||We had read old reviews on here that said you needed your own kindling and an airer, etc… this simply is no longer true. We took way too much stuff with us and didn’t use it. Jo and Paul supply pretty much everything you could need. Jo arranged for a cot for our baby - this saved us a lot of space! ||I would highly recommend the Knaveswell Farm Safari Tents for a family get away. We stayed for a week and could have easily stayed for longer. We’ll definitely be returning in the not-too-distant-future.
