Individual pork pies are the best I’ve ever tasted. Best in the country so far. Individual steak pies are too dry for me though.

Recently purchased a family steak pie from here and must say it was gorgeous. Would highly recommend this butcher. The meat for sale also looks gorgeous. Very friendly staff too.

Amazing butcher!... They have incredible meat. Their pork pies are unreal!... I have tried thir burger on the BBQ and they are phenomenal and if you like a little bit of spiciness tried the chorizo burger they make, the only place I can get it, please try it.

Called into Kitsons on Wednesday 2nd October. Bought 4x uncooked steak and ale pies. We've had them for tea tonight. Absolutely gorgeous. Tasty, tender beef lively gravy and a pie so full of all of that loveliness. The staff were friendly and efficient and lovely with my mam who was in a wheelchair. One of the best butchers I've been in.

My wife went to buy two pork pies, they looked very nice in the window, but when she came out and told me they were £2.75 each I nearly had a heart attack, but foolishly i thought they must be good for that price. However when we had them on arriving back at our accommodation a couple of hours later, they were awfull, the pastry was soggy on the bottom and the pork was like rubber, so in the bin they went, an absolute waste of money, and extremely over priced!!

Visited yesterday for pork pies which my husband has enjoyed in the past. However he was very disappointed, pork filling very bland and tasteless and the pastry not fully cooked with a soggy bottom. Really disappointed especially as the price has risen to £2.50. The two stars are for the staff who were very friendly.

I asked for a steak and kidney pie.
The lad packed up a pie. I queried that it came from the steak and ale pie line. He assured me that it was a steak and kidney as there were s&k near the back of the line.
Guess which pie I got!?! Not the one I wanted.
The steak and ale pie was lovely with lots of meat, just not what I was looking forward to.
