Unbelievable! It doesn’t look much from the outside but this place is fabulous! Huge range of delicious cakes, great coffee, fabulous menu, bustling, welcoming atmosphere. I stopped for breakfast on an early morning bike ride and it was not far short of a spiritual experience.

We had a open maccaroni cheese
sandwich & chicken shearma wrap. Both great size and tasty. Side salad was fresh & crunchy and was dressed well. Lovely staff, helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere and views. We took some cakes home which were amazing too. Will be back for sure.

Stopped here today for a quick drink but also had scones with jam and clotted cream.
Scones were delicious and very reasonably priced. Cafe also had a fantastic range of cakes and traybakes.
Staff were courteous and attentive at all times.
Overall this is a delightful little cafe which I would highly recommend.

Such a lovely experience as always! The food is delicious and the staff were so kind and caring. I went in for a little pick me up after very little sleep last night and came away not only on a sugar high (My cake was huge) but also on an emotional high. The owner of the cafe made me feel so welcome and was my second arm pouring my juice when my little one fell asleep on me. The staff go above and beyond to make you have a lovely relaxing experience and I would highly recommend. x

Great find in Newport on Tay. Lovely food with great gluten free options. Really friendly service as standard. Seats outside have a great view of Dundee over the Tay. Excellent.

Glad I walked further, past the main street in Newport-on-Tay and so found this lovely little cafe. Only had a coffee but it was good. Sat outside enjoying the views over the Tay estuary then went inside to get better wifi.

Superb food! We had leek and potato soup, a BLT sandwich, a brie and cranberry brioche, an Oaties and a brownie. Everything was absolutely delicious! Kitschnbake is dog friendly as well. Our dog got a warm welcome, a bowl of water and a puppuccino. I recommend visiting here.
