My wife and I visited Kaffeehaus for the first time this morning. We both wanted to try different coffee and Bernhard introduced us to and suggested 2 different types of bean. We also ordered 2 coffees to drink, a latte and a flat white. Both were delicious and expertly prepared. Bernhard was very kind in taking time to explain the coffee making process and we're now looking forward to our next visit.

Carina and Bernard are very knowledgeable about all aspects of the coffee brewing process. They explained the process from farming the cherries to pouring the latte art and everything in between in a way that was easy to understand. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. If you’re a dreaming of opening your own coffee shop or just a keen home barista who wants a better understanding of the process, I Would definitely recommend.

My freinds and I attended the barista course at the Durham Coffee Roasters. The afternoon was Intresting, informative and fun. Bernhard and Carina both had a great depth of knowledge and delivered the information and practical session in a user freindly manner.
We learned useful information from coffee growing to coffee making. I would reccomend this short course for anyone interested in coffee or just doing something different for an afternoon.

A really special business local to Durham, but also serving coffee lovers further afield! Established on their love of Durham and coffee, this family run roasters is a must to visit and support. Their coffee is the best I've ever tried, and they really have something for everyone. You can shop online, in local shops or at their roastery and experiment with their suggested brewing methods. You can really feel the love put into this business and the community they have built around it.

Had a great time on the Coffee Lover’s Beginner’s Course I booked for my partner and I for his birthday. We never knew there was so much to coffee!

Bernhard and Carina were so friendly and relaxed, it was a truly enjoyable experience learning and trying out different brewing methods and snacking on some very tasty nibbles in between.

If you want to learn everything there is to know about coffee from two very knowledgeable and passionate people, I highly recommend this course.
