We have used John Trains in the past and went again this year. We were delighted in the quality of the Christmas tree that we bought. It was just what we were looking for as this year we had not pre ordered and wondered if we might find what we were looking for. We bought a five foot Spruce. It was perfect. The tree was regular in shape, the fullness of the branches rendered the appearance to be extremely pleasing. We were welcomed and greeted in a most pleasant and friendly manner and we were able to pick a tree from others that were available. The time we spent considering our presence was not hurried. Thanks.

If you're looking for all things nursery and great service - look no further than John Train and Sons!
If you live (as I do) on the east coast of Scotland, or anywhere other than Ayrshire, then the range of products you can have delivered may be slightly limited, however, for gifting rose bushes/ standards, patio pots, or many other floral pressies/ tributes, then this is the place to go for high quality products and professional, cheerful and helpful service.
I was looking for a rose for a special birthday and was a bit uninformed as to the type - floribundas? Bare root? In a pot? In the ground?

Alison, with infinite patience, talked me through the options and helped me choose the perfect plant, recommended the ideal conditions and threw in helpful hints and tips along the way as part of the service. I managed to establish that Trains also stock .........

Wedding planters, hanging baskets, garden plants, birthday, anniversary and Mother's Day rose bushes, garden pots, holly wreaths, and shrubs. Go look for yourselves. You'll find them online.

You'll find none of the confusing array of products and trinkets you never wanted in the first place, as in some establishments - but if it's honest to goodness, high quality, carefully tended plants you are looking for and excellent customer service then Train's the name!
