This butcher always delivers superb quality. I would recommend them for steaks. I have just 3 excellent filet mignon cuts and as ever they were succulent and full of flavour.

Wanted to thank this butcher for our tasty loin of pork which he cut into chops for us to take home on Friday after our visit to Holme Lacy Hotel. The chops were delicious and the rib eye steaks were amazing. We will have to travel back up from Cardiff to get some more to fill the freezer.

We stayed in Woolhope last week and this butchers was highly recommended. Bought some sirloin steaks to bbq and they were simply amazing. Very helpful owners and also advised on some local cheese to buy. If you’re nearby and want quality meat then please go there !

The quality of beef is incomparable with that from supermarkets or other butchers in Hereford. The shop is clean and the meat is always very fresh and tender.

Bought lamb rump steaks, absolutely delicious! We took a jar of the mint sauce to go with the lamb and devoured that too! Can definitely recommend

We stay in Fownhope a couple of times a year and the steaks are simply amazing. We'll be back in late July, planning a BBQ feast and will be buying all the produce from here.

Stumbled on this butchers on a visit to a wedding at How Caple. Friendly & knowledgeable owner, we bought half a Herefordshire Pig... Have grilled some of the chops and these our outstanding. Cannot recommend highly enough.

What a lovely little village butcher's shop! We bought bacon, cheese and rib eye steaks from here and they tasted amazing!
