I ordered some items last weekend for local delivery this weekend , it was all delivered today, on time and communications were brilliant. The products are lovely and fresh. I would very much recommend them.

I've been a loyal customer for what I used to think of as a lovely local butcher almost the entirety of this year and last. I'm afraid James Kittows ain't #crackin like they claim to be.

1) Ordering eggs? get ready to be short of at least 2 eggs out of 12. I received 10 eggs, and when I emailed to raise this issue, I received no reply nor replacement eggs on the next delivery. 🥚🚫🔟🙄
2) Ordering poultry.. A WHOLE chicken or A WHOLE turkey in one of their many "boxes"? It will arrive without the bones, i.e., Turkey Crown or just the main meat of the chicken and no bones! 🐔 what the cluck is that about?! I wanna make a bone broth 😔
3) jameskittow.co.uk confusing at best, pls see photo uploads 🙏 I'd love to help with that as I have been an I.T specialist for 10+ years of my life and still dabble in code for friends and family since Aquired Brain Injury following a road traffic accident back in 2018 that wasn't my fault.
4) I've often been mis-steak-enly handed rump steaks instead of sirloin & vis versa because labels don't seem to matter so long as there is a label on it that says steak I guess that'll do. 😅
5) Pet food tubes, beef roasting joints, "whole" chickens & turkeys have almost always had blood leaking out of the packets they arrive in. 😖 if ya live in a shared house [most of us do nowadays] with a veggie or 2, be sure to have a supply of disinfectant ready and waiting before your order arrives. 😉

All that said, I really respect James Kittows' farming practices. Their meat is top quality, and its always a good sign when a butcher is also a graziers + they allow visitors to their farm. 🚜 😇💯😎 Customer service at our door is the very best! 👌 We think the fella who delivers the orders deserves a pay rise 🙌

I'm willing to give Kittows an opportunity to correct themselves and better yet, take my free advice on how to manage their WooCommerce plugin on their WordPress site as I have plenty of experience in the online field and I totally forgive them for not having updated their website since COVID19 😊

In conclusion, Kittows, please reach out to me and let's work together to help each other out, and I'll turn this 1 star into a 5 star 🌟

Pleasure to support local, family run, key working businesses that we are all technically steakholders of, if not monetarily, then at least for the sake of our planet and the future of our children! We stopped getting meat and eggs from Tesco and changed to our local butcher. Thank goodness we did! I'd forgotten what fresh, local produce tasted like and it is fabulous. Free delivery locally, I recommend them wholeheartedly!

Best butcher's in the south west from its quality meats to the tasty marinades, my favourites the BBQ flavor they use, beautiful cuts, chops, joints, tasty specialised award winning sausages! Hog roast machinery available, Anything you desire I'm sure James is the man too sort it all out, good and proper, Fresh, Quality assured meats. Good prices! ! Great!

Another fantastic Christmas meat spread from James and his team!! Would absolutely recommend, excellent quality local produce, with friendly service and free local delivery, what more could you want!?!

Bought the country pork and herb sausages in Morrisons, Liskeard, Cornwall and can't describe how bad these were, taste and texture were really unpleasant and both me and my wife bit onto bones in them, fortunately our teeth are ok! We threw most of them away, an embarassment to Cornwall 🙁
