Excellent work by James and his team (Max, Chris and Attila). We had a number of custom units designed, built, fitted and painted by James Carpentry and we love them all!

The team were punctual, polite, clean and have great attention to detail - they clearly take pride in their work. The quality and finish is excellent. It was a pleasure to have them at our home.

We were impressed by how quickly they came round to do measurements, their patience with all our questions and the overall time it took to get everything done.

From the initial consultation with Anna, to James and the team who built the wardrobes and Attila who hand painted them - I could not fault any part of the process. Excellent communication through-out, spoilt for choice in terms of options, well priced and built in a timely fashion to a high standard, by a team who were polite and tidy.

Update October 2021:
We liked our custom shelves/cabinets so much that we had James Carpentry return to install fitted wardrobes in the bedroom (blue wardrobes pictured below). Once again, they did an amazing job and it looks brilliant. Installation and painting was once again done very professionally and in a clean and timely manner.

July 2021:
We recently bought a flat which didn't have much storage space in it, but had two large alcoves in the living room. After a search of local carpenters, I came across James Carpentry. It is an amazing business and they were so professional from start to finish. Very prompt to answer the initial enquiry and to take measurements/send the designs. During installation and painting, they were very careful to ensure no mess was created/left behind and did a beautiful job. We originally wanted to have completely symmetrical shelves but on installation day they showed us a few options and we ended up liking the asymmetrical style more - which they accommodated! We are so pleased with the final result and will definitely be using James Carpentry again - already put in an enquiry about bedroom storage!

I instructed James Carpentry London to design, install and paint two alcove cabinets in my living room. I am absolutely thrilled with the end result and the exceptional service provided throughout!

Right through the initial brief, site visit, drawings, last minute amendments to the designs (on my part), installation of the units and the painting, the entire JCL team could not have been more efficient and professional. They really listened and understood what I wanted to achieve and delivered the desired outcome!

Just a side note, I had four members of the team visit throughout the different stages of the process and they all turned up bang on time for our scheduled appointments! That was much appreciated as I was often meeting with them before rushing out to work.

I will be returning to JCL for bespoke bedroom furniture, due to my brilliant first experience working with them. Can not recommend highly enough!

Second time we have used this company. Delighted with the quality of work.
James visited us and gave us some really good ideas about how to make the best use of a tricky space - quote came quickly . All communication was excellent. We had wardrobes made and a desk area with drawers and floating shelves ( made tricky due to alcoves and chimney breast but wanting to maximise storage) it looks fantastic - couldn’t be happier with the work. Will be using them again for sure and would highly recommend .
