We use this butchers every week and the quality of the meat is always great. Everyone is really friendly and helpful and although our order is usually quite big, it’s always ready for us when we come in. Everything is reasonably priced and they even throw in a bone for the dog once in a while

This a proper old fashioned family butchers. They products are magnificent. Yesterday, I bought pork pie, and its perfect. The black pudding is sublime. They even do Savoury duck. I have never seen this anywhere else in the North East. Usually its a Yorkshire recipe.Cold cuts are beautiful. Pies make you swoon.
Their prices are low, quality is as good as it gets.
I don't think theres a finer traditional "proper" butchers in the North of England.

Just an outstanding butchers, the pies, sausages and meat are top notch. They have two shops in Chester Le Street and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. There's a reason why they've been around for so long.
