Came up from London for the day to Hayfield visiting my parents and stopped in to have a look as I needed meat for a BBQ. Could not have been happier, the boned leg of lamb was incredibly succulent and full of flavour and worked perfectly on the BBQ. The chicken kebabs and burgers also went down a storm. Easily as good as any butcher I have been to in London, with the added bonus of friendly, attentive, expert service.

Visited this little shop while staying in Hayfield recently. I can't rate it highly enough - all the meat was from local farms and was of the highest quality and tasted fantastic. The pork chops were divine! We even called in on our way home to Somerset to take some goodies back with us. Thank you - wish we had a butcher like you near us.

Always a fabulous selection of fresh meats. I also recommend the pies, quiches, and cooked meats. If you are lucky, you'll get the chance buy parkin or mince pies too. Both are excellent.

Visited for the second time today while camping locally for a few days. Just polished off 2 fillet steaks that were beautiful. Still got pies to look forward to. Excellent place.
