I absolutely love this family butcher. So personable and accommodating. They've made me feel so welcome with each interaction. My husband and I are from the states and had been on the search for a specific cut of meat but couldn't find it as the verbage is different here and they were able to help us. I’ve been using J Jones Family Butchers for the last 10 years, I cannot recommend them enough. Dee and Ian always greet you with such a friendly welcome. We always order for Christmas and Easter. Whilst some might say ordering from a butchers is expensive I disagree, our three Christmas meats, have given our family 30 separate meals. That’s great value for money in my opinion. We halved the meats and have frozen them to have until Easter time. It’s not just the joints of meat that are exceptional, the bacon and the burgers are out of this world. Can’t wait to see you both at Easter. Maria and Emily 🙂

When I lived in Thetford I always used this butchers and was never disappointed. I've since moved all over the country and haven't found a butchers I like as much. I have now moved to Cambridge and looked to see if they were still in Thetford. So happy to see they are and this will now be my 'Go To' butchers travelling all the way from Cambridge to do so!

The J Jones Family Butchers in Thetford is one of the premier butchers I've been to, I've always loved coming here to see what their deals are and it's great to be able to talk to the butchers to see what they could do with the meal ideas I had. We picked up a few packs of their Walmington traditional handmade sausages for our dinner tonight and I must say they are the best sausages we have eaten in a very long time. Very meaty, very well filled and didn't split too much when cooked.
Highly recommended and we will definitely be having them again.
