Such a fantastic little plant shop! Such a wide range of plants, often in different sizes so you can see what you’re letting yourself in for (looking at you, monstera). The lady that I spoke to was so helpful and knowledgeable, even helping me with some of my own plants at home! Instantly one of my favourite places in Exeter.

If you are a plant lover then you have to visit! Truly wonderful is the only way I can describe it. Immediately through the door you can tell that they adore each and every plant. The staff are amazing!!!! Their knowledge of all their plants is out standing. Not only that they have the patience and guidance when I showed a picture of a plant that I was struggling with and offered some tips. They are all about saying hello and having a conversation about plants…. Never a hard sell kind of attitude which is refreshing. So thank you Hutch for being awesome! ❤️

If you're after house plants or house plant advice, Hutch is the place. We wanted both when we ventured into the jungle today. There's an incredible array of beautiful plants, tastefully arranged. The lady serving was friendly & super helpful... she really knows & cares about house plants and offered advice freely. 100% recommend a visit. Pay & display just over the road... short walk from the High Street.

Went in recently and bought 2 plants and had to go back for a mossball, beautiful shop with a great atmosphere and the owner is really nice! great plant variety and great prices for them too! Would highly recommend!

Really lovely shop! The lady who helped us was really great and helped us choose a really nice ceramic pot to go with the cactus we were purchasing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new house plant in Exeter!

Lovely independent house plant shop. Brilliant mix of small, developed and even large house plants - ranging from a few pounds to over a hundred. Mixture of different types of plants, tall, short, broad leaf, cactuses, terraniums - everything to fill a space or room. Also has a selection of pots and plant accessories. Staff are exceedingly knowledgeable on the plants and can help you find the right one. Only minor issue, and is not a reflection on the shop but there’s a step to get in and it is a cost shop making disabled access tricky but not impossible.

Hutch is the only place I would ever buy plants in Exeter. The staff are incredibly friendly, really knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions not just about plants but also about how the shop is run (which is super interesting).
