Great place. Friendly owner, basic but clean facilities with hot showers it’s great value for money. Has excellent views in peaceful location only five minutes from the Dales Way footpath. Only four or five tents on the field midweek at end of July.

I stayed for 2 nights and It was a really nice place, with clean toilets with 2 showers, the grass had no rubbish. There was also a tap for drinking water ( I think it does need to be tightened a bit more as it was quite loose). It was great all around. The views were nice, especially at night. I did DOFE and The only thing was that there was no service at all whatsoever, so after an extremely long walk we had no way of calling family, but to be honest I enjoyed it a lot.

Fantastic remote location, but only 20 mins from Skipton if you need anything. Basic toilets but spacious and lit at night. No hot water for 3 nights but we quite enjoyed improvising!!

I stayed for 4 nights by myself. It was perfectly basic, set in a beautiful location and with no need to use my car whilst there. It’s pretty much a large field with a tap, adequate toilets, 2 showers (in the lady’s) and the most beautiful sounds from the farm animals and birds! Lovely walks in various directions. Couple of pubs - about 20 mins walk along the river and then up. Will definitely be going back.

Had a lovely time at this site. We were made welcome and the facilities were perfect for our needs. Its on a working farm which we liked and has some excellent walks on the doorstep. The 2 pubs are 15 minutes walk away. We will certainly visit this site again!

I love this place. We go for 1 or 2 night breaks from it all. Gorgeous river walk down to Burnsall & back & a few pubs in Appletreewick for refreshments ?
