The truffles with alcohol in them are very good, but if there’s no alcohol the filling just tastes of a very sweet fondant. Marzipan chocolates are awful they don’t taste of almonds just very very sweet. The chocolate is delicious, Such a shame some of the Fillings aren’t better.

We were going to get some nice real chocolate but we're disappointed that the chocolate on offer didn't have a large percentage of chocolate.

I’m in Ontario, Canada, and I bought the Christmas dogs to share amongst my six grandchildren and other dog owning friends … one grandchild has a Westie and I was so glad to see one included, I’ve had goldens and was also happy to see a couple of golden pups … it’s now Boxing Day and I found two of them hidden under some stuff (surely not intentionally by me ?) so I decided to try one and it was lovely! I was also pleased to see you are located in Dorset, UK, where my cousin lived and we had visited several times. They were a little pricey here but I knew I would share them so they were well worth the money … I shall be on the lookout for Dorchester chocolates here again

Ordered a selection pack from a department chain. Packaging and appearance were beautiful, they looked so luxurious. So very disappointed to find they tasted ghastly. Strange flavors and a plastic taste to the chocolate. Salted caramels were extremely salty and I'm someone who likes a lot of salt normally. Chocolate has to be very bad before I can't eat it. I Definitely couldn't eat these.

Cheap chocolates in a heavy box. If the chocolates had been as nice as the box they arrived in ( and matched the price charged) we'd have been very happy but in reality they weren't that great. Reminded me of a box of Dairy Milk with a few sprinkles thrown on them.

Poor service. Ordered various cholocates as presents for friends. The box came damaged and two items were in a particular bad state so have to go to the bin. Contacted customer service and was offered one item to be posted which they did but it didn't solve my issue as i had to look for other options spending my time and money. Was promised a refund, almost two weeks passed but no sight of the refund so had to chase again. Would not use this company anymore.

Very disappointed with the black Friday chocolate deal, went to the shop early to take advantage of this offer and I have been left very disappointed. I was on the understanding that these boxes on offer were to contain different chocolate in each box and I was given 3 of the same and all of them dark chocolate. I called and was told I could exchange 2 boxes for some different choices. I took the 2 boxes back and was given a very rude reception from the lady who was serving telling me I was only allowed to change 1 box and I was only allowed another box of dark chocolate. These are supposed to be for Christmas and not many people in my family like dark chocolate, I feel this offer was misleading as the samples were not the same as what people were given. My son also got some boxes and one of his contained easter egg shells, Easter was in April and they were also yet again all dark chocolate. I wish I had stayed at home instead and after the way I was spoken to I will not being going here again.
