Went into the store today just to have a browse and saw they had some Regal Jumping spiders. I ended up picking up this cute little guy he came in a nice container but wanted to make his home special.both of the ladies that where working where so kind and welcoming I am so fortunate to have this place within a 20 minute drive from me I may be returning to pick up another jumping spider very soon

This is just a follow up, to broadcast how we are continually amazed at this store, The staff, the Owner, the quality, you can just tell this isnt just a job to these people, they really do care.

We have 3 tanks, photos attached are an example of the health of the plants we have bought, the wood, etc all have been brilliant, have all made the fishes happy, as a result we have just ordered our first massive tank from here, id rather the sale and recognition and the money go into here rather than a chain.

This place, is the definition of the local friendly fish store.

Really friendly staff, some products are expensive. Wide array of different animals for sale. I always buy my crickets from here as they're alot more healthy than the ones from pets at home or pets corner. Unfortunately I did see a few pots that were supposed to have worms in them but was just filled with blue mould

I always come here for my reptile supplies/food. They have a grand selection of just about everything you will need for the majority of pets kept in the UK. I have always found their pricing unbeatable and the customer service second to none. The staff are very knowledgable. All of their live stock seem to be very happy and healthy with well kitted living spaces. I am always super impressed with their enclosures and their animals. I would highly recommend coming here for exotic animal supplies.

All the staff are an absolute wealth of knowledge, the business owner is in store most days and is so down to earth and helpful it's incredibly refreshing. Especially with more niche and difficult to care for species. This store is always busy and for good reason.

Here is a photo of some of their axolotls, a species that aquatic stores famously keep incorrectly and give out wrong advice for, not here! Healthy, right water parameters, diet, substrate and advice. Superb store I couldn't reccomend more highly!

Wonderful range of fish, amphibians, and reptiles plus a really helpful member of staff. Tanks, supplies etc plus it is within Hillers Garden Centre which has a fab restaurant, Edinburgh Woolen Mill, Pavers shoe shop and Huxleys Bird of prey centre. There is also a forge, and some other small outlets. Great place to spend a couple of hours.

A great aquatic centre with a vast array of cold and tropical water fish, plants, tanks, tank items, filters, food, garden ornaments. Also they sell insects and reptiles. Depending on your point of view on animals in tanks this is an okay or not okay thing. But the tanks were clean and seemingly well looked after. The staff were attentive.

Lovely range of healthy fish, helpful and un-pushy staff, various bits and bobs for sale for starting up and maintaining a range of tank sizes. Prices for fish are reasonable - not as cheap as big chain stores but the quality is better. Their stocked tanks are on individual filter systems so you know quarantines actually work. Great independent fish shop, will happily keep supporting them in the future 🙂
