A really fun and engaging experience. Psychologically really hard to get your head around adding them to your food, but we had such a nice time learning about the benefits of insects, and the cooking part was fun!

I had the greatest pleasure to be part of this amazing experience of cooking with insects. Tiziana, Tom and Lawrence are delightful hosts, very passionate about cooking and edible insects. I learned many interesting facts about insects. The experience was very well structured. My bruschetta , burger and cookie were very filling and delicious. I highly recommend this experience.

This was a novel and enlightening experience that the whole family enjoyed. The Mohan's shared their home and their passion with us and it's clear they take pride in both, as the enthusiasm was infectious. We may or may not decide to farm our own insects based on this but we'll definitely enjoy sharing the pictures and experience with friends. We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

A very interesting experience, had the pleasure of seeing the insects and how they grow, the owner was very welcoming and introduced everything about insects,made insects food with a friend and they were so tasty and interesting. The place was homely like home.

Tiziana and Tom hosted a wonderful experience cooking, eating and learning about edible insects. We visited the farm (in a purpose built building in their garden) and met several types of insects at different stages of their development. We learned about the politics around entophagy post-brexit (which has made it very hard for insect farms and businesses, limiting its huge potential environmental and economic impact). We cooked a tasting menu of different foods, such as mealworm burgers, cricket bruschetta (seasoned with Tiziana’s Italian flare), bhajias, and critter cookies and crispie cakes. Then we feasted, and it was delicious. Tiziana and Tom are friendly, fun and passionate; they welcomed us into their home and we felt like family. We laughed and learned, and had a great time. These guys are trailblazers in what I’m convinced is going to be a future food that helps us tackle climate change. As insects are about ten times more efficient to produce than beef, this is an ethical way to get proteins, prebiotics and b12 vitamins. Thanks for a lovely morning and lunch Horizon team. I’d recommend this experience to anyone with curious tastebuds, an interest in sustainability or a love of unique London experiences.

Went driven by desire to explore what may become part of widespread staple diet in the future.
This was one of those occasions when lifelong mindsets get changed - the class may well free you from queasy attitude or misconceptions.
My daughter, who went with some trepidation, was pleasantly surprised the insects were not at all off-putting because they were not squidgy as she believed, but dry and have barely/ totally discernible taste as an ingredient in the generous number of dishes we prepared - burger, bhaji, buschetta, cookie, chocolates.

Tiziana and Tom were very pleasant and attentive hosts, work stations were beautifully set, plentiful fresh ingredients, everything was squeaky clean (they have full marks for food standards certification). Thank you both for a great experience.

I had an amazing experience visiting the insect farm and cooking with insects. I was actually intimidated by the idea of eating insects before coming here but the warm atmosphere and the hygienic insect farm made it seem fun to have insect food! And they definitely tasted very savory!
