Closing down sale at all Homebases.
I got a 450W jigsaw and a 20 pk black rectangular tiles. For both cost £18.30 I got a great deal.
Not all is reduced. Be careful of the wording on some items.

Overpriced
Edit - no I won't update. If it takes a bad review to allow you to update pricing, it means a second visit. Why go somewhere twice when I can go to a competitor once for a better deal?

Purchased garden furniture from hexham homebase on July 1st.they organised delivery for 9th Tuesday. Delivery to my postcode on Tuesdays and Fridays. Furniture failed to turn up on either day with no contact from delivery company as to why.
Homebase at hexham were brilliant particularly the Manager David who went above and beyond to rectify the problem, delivering the garden set an hour after I'd been in the store to complain.
He was extremely courteous, very helpful and an asset to the company. I wish there were more David's in business these days ,who used common sense and who put customers needs as a priority and not profits.
Because of the way the store dealt with my situation I will be shopping there again, but will make sure not to ask xpo to deliver anything.

Fair range of products but I now prefer Screwfix for lower prices and higher quality items, especially power tools. Good for paint and timber. Staff very good.

The staff are very helpful however my issue is with the management, I witnessed a shop Assistant being told to “shut up” by a manager.

This is not an appropriate way to speak to staff in my opinion.
They should be called to the office and spoken to with respect and professionalism.

Also I noticed there appears to be a huge turnover of staff, as when I have asked to see a particular member of staff due to their helpfulness I am informed they have left, and that is not just one occasion but several.
I wonder why?

The store itself is good, the management however require training on how to treat their staff.

Nice layout of the shop and the opening times are great.

The only thing that lets this place down is if you need help with something, trying to finding staff Is like in needle in a haystack.

The garden section is okay but it could do with an update as it looks bare and not greatly appealing.
