Gift experience for birthday. Matt is a fantastic enthusiastic host and very knowledgeable. His presentation and info sharing was brilliant. The 2nd part with the hive was amazing, even seen a new bee emerge from the cell. Looking forward to tasting 3 types of honey purchased. Wish Matt and his bees all the very best. Highly recommend a visit and book the experience, help support a local business and their lovely bees.

Holt Hall Apiary is an independent bee farm based in Staffordshire. There is a wide variety of organic premium British honeys. Ordered the classic runny honey and was so happy to see that they offer it in a large 1kg jar. The delivery took just a couple days and the honeys arrived perfectly packaged and safe. They also sell honey and cocoa spread which is absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend if you want to buy real organic honey, the kind that is not available in supermarkets.

I was given a voucher for an introduction course for beekeeping which is something I have been thinking about doing for a long time.
I was not disappointed the short introduction (up to 2hrs) was an excellent first step for those thinking of taking up the hobby and a really interesting knowledge builder for those who just have an enquiring mind and an interest in the natural world. The introduction is a one on one short course so you don't have to listen to other people wasting time while you just want to learn. Matthew who runs the course is a very personable young man and is obviously immersed in his art but you won't feel embarrassed to ask idiot questions as he patiently guides you through. I would thoroughly recommend this course for anyone thinking of investigating the amazing world of the Bee
