Holly Hedge played a crucial role in helping us rehome our beloved border collie (Cody), a process that was emotionally challenging for us. We loved him dearly and tried our best to guide him into being the dog we needed. However, we ultimately realised that we could no longer provide him with the care and attention he required, despite the deep bond we shared and our daily life together. The staff at Holly Hedge were incredibly kind, supportive, and understanding, always prioritising the welfare of the dogs. Thanks to their "Home from Home" scheme, we were able to keep him with us until the rehoming day, ensuring he transitioned smoothly to a wonderful family in the countryside, where he would have plenty of space and time to thrive.Making the right choice can often be the hardest decision, but it ultimately pays off for everyone involved. We will love you forever, Cody.

Wonderful charity who helped me to adopt my wonderful kittens Luna and Molly! They are really meticulous to make sure you match animals that are suitable, and they truly care about the animals in the centre!

A really busy place with people coming and going all the time - which warms my heart. Give a rescue a home, but be patient, they take a while to settle into your home - especially the poor animals who have been previously mistreated, or have been in kennels for a while. We re-homed a border collie from Holly Hedge recently. The staff were really pleased to have found a home for him. Which shows that they love what they are doing. I can't praise them enough.

Holly Hedge is an amazing animal sanctuary. The living conditions of the animals are an extremely good trade off between comfort and space. I've never seen a sanctuary which gives the animals so much space and freedom considering the limitations of land.

If you're looking to adopt a catface or a doggo this is definitely the place to go. Please take the time to speak to the staff as they know all of their animals and love them dearly.

Holly Hedge are a charity. With this in mind, even if you don't find an animal you feel would suit your home, please leave a donation.

We Re-homed our dog through holly hedge and although it wasn't easy for us to do, the staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and insure she was going to the right place.

Hollyhedge and the staff are really good and welcoming. We have been here a couple of times now and are very happy with the organisation. We are hoping to adopt a really nice tira. Our fingers are crossed. Looking to visit her again on Thursday. Some more walkies. 😊🤞

The most fantastic sanctuary. Throughout the rescue process they were incredibly thorough and gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. We rescued the cat and spent a while sitting with him in his enclosure, and staff were very helpful and informative. Then when picking him up they were fantastic and we are so pleased with the new addition to our home.

Keep doing incredible work!

Dropped off some food and towels. The staff are so friendly and kind here. Really, it should be me thanking them as we adopted a kitten from here 4 years ago. They give the best care to their animals and it's lovely to see so many volunteers taking the dogs out for their walks in the adjacent countryside.
